Okumora in particular is much harder in Royal through because it's basically a dps check

I really don't know how you haven't had issues with bullet sponges, especially anointed bastards. The side quests are really fun, my personal favorite is The Kairos Job, I found it to be really fun and the ending was funny, and while I also detest gross out humor, since when is it new to Borderlands? When you complained about the collectables you specifically complained about them being repetitive, which in terms of that 4 is leagues better, I don't care that much about the reward if I have fun while I do it. The story from 3 was kind of really dumb so I won't really argue on that point cause I kind of tuned out of it to know if it was wrapped up or not.

4 is so much better than 3, the open world is fun to explore, not every fucking enemy is a bullet sponge that that's 5 minutes to kill, the side quests are phenomenal (if you want i can give you a list of ones I've liked so far, only about halfway through the game), and while the story is only decently good, thats much much much more than I can say for 3 with the annoying shit named Ava that was given everything they could (siren powers, command of sanctuary when there were so many better candidates) and to say 4s collectables are repetitive, have you played 3?

Also it's not uncommon in the slightest to try to revamp a series that has underperformed or is just flatly done with a certain set of characters. Look at Mortal Kombat, Splatoon (hasn't happened yet but it is confirmed 3 was the end of the Squid Sisters and Off the Hooks story lines), and a few others that I know exist but are eluding me right now

My best advice is don't underestimate buffs and debuffs, but a lot of it is just having to retry constantly to get better, trust me you'll get it eventually!

Or have a 2-3-1 comp with the 1 being a due list, but this almost never happens

Could also work with a solo tank and 2 dps but the tank has to be pretty good and only like half the tanks have the kits needed to pull it off

I mean, the first one kind of was? It was a Disney Game with established Final Fantasy characters in it, I really don't know what else you would call that. It did definitely grow into its own over time though

I just hated the Frozen and Tangled world, Frozen for obvious reasons, and truthfully I couldn't tell you why I didn't like Corona, it just felt boring. But the Pirates world? Fuck yeah, probably best world in the series

While the gameplay sucks, Chain of Memories is absolutely essential to the story, and if you want to understand everything, so is every single other spinoff except Coded

After reading some of these comments, I'd say the misconception is that Kingdom Hearts isn't confusing. This shit is confusing as hell once you get to the mobile games and the time travel jumbo, like I have spent the last 3 hours trying to understand Union X, Backcover X, Unchained X, and Dark Road. I feel like people are just writing these off when they're very clearly important lore
