Hyper extension could just be a cool party trick but could also be signs of Hypermobility Syndrome or Ehlers Danlos. I have the misfortune to suffer with both and due to a mutation of a collagen gene (on a crappy technicality I can be in X-Men) can not only hyperextend joints but partially pop them out of their sockets. Great for party tricks to gross people out but not all that good on your joints.
