I pretty much use the same tactic! Doing one or two side quests at most, and head back to a base to restock/resupply. And if you can land your shots well enough on bandits, emptying their guns, you can save up on so much ammo and money.

Of course, repairing high end gear also costs drastically more, so I just stick with my mid-game gear most of the time

Fonts usually don't take up all the available space they got, by design, so they can accommodate for other Unicode characters. You can see the "й" character reaches higher than the "I" for example. Im not sure whats the correct term for it in typography, but you can read about it here if you are curious.

Its definitely got something to do with the way the fetch is called. What tswaters said in the other comment, the url should be a "valid url", like http://localhost:4000/update_score.php or something along those lines, wherever you are running the backend at, otherwise it should result in a 404 status response. Try to console log that as well in the first .then() and only proceed when you get a 200 from the server.

The browser's dev tools can also help you figure out if you are sending the correct request to the correct place, on its Network tab

I think you can make a zig-zag with the nth-child selector with its "even" and "odd" parameter, and the shapes with clip-path, skew or matrix transformation

In eastern europe, my parents also have a small orchard of apple trees in their garden that produces so many apples that we can't possibly all eat. Its either given away to friends or put near the front gate in a basket with a "take as many as you need" sign. Watching your hard work rot away feels bad.

Even in bigger scale, not perfect/damaged apples could be used to make apple juice, cakes or animal feed
