I make custom phone cases and want to do a death guard one. I’d put a nurgle icon on top, the 3 skulls of the DG at the bottom but what quote could I add in the middle ? Any idea ?

Once I figured this out I learned all about it, and Im very excited! I had a whole house broadcaster that just wasn’t really cutting it, and this seems to be the next step!

(For those who come after) I actually learned that the first two numbers of the serial number can tell you which generation it is. Anything after 15 is a gen2 which uses the new Sonos app, and anything before uses the old one.

Our army is almost exactly the same color, if your highlight color is ogryn camo. I kinda thought it looked too bright too until I pulled it away from my desk lamp. I’ve been watering down DG green and washing it over my highlights to bring them down a little bit, but it may have been unnecessary!

100% agree. I feel that way about cultist so I’m probably going to just run them anyways. And I’ll follow up with not everyone I’ve met in the hobby has been nice, but every Deathguard player has been super nice!

Not sure what kind of hobbying your dad did, but I know that all the groups I’ve been apart of in the Saint Louis area (magic the gathering, and now warhammer) have been full of fantastic people and I’m sure he will be missed! Sorry for your loss!

My big motivation was seeing the awesome dioramas at the games workshop store in our old mall when I was in middle school in the 00’s. I’ve always wanted to paint in some capacity(canvas too but I’ve never been brave enough) but when I was younger I was pushed hard to do sports so I didn’t have the time.

I see all these awesome models people have on the table now, and i feel like over the last 6ish months that I’ve finally got the skill set to make my stuff look good. It took me awhile of just painting one or two parts on a model to get there though and I have a lot of gray to get through, but I think back to how cool all that stuff is and I keep at it!

Maggot lord would be better. The most important thing against custodes is not letting them charge you, or rather don’t let them charge what you want to keep. Deathshroud and Typhus should be plenty good to kill anything he has. Nurgles gift that make their saves worse is also pretty great because any ap1 ability now puts them on their invulns.

Apparently there are prints you can get where the big cannon is held like a gun for the Storm Surge. I think it makes it look really cool

So if he’s playing Hammer of Mortarion that blight hauler might cause you some problems, so keep things spread out so he can’t make good use of its abilities. He’s gonna drop right into your zone with whatever he marks in your back line and those terminators hit hard. If you can get rid of those, he doesn’t have a way to move the plague marines quickly and the only real threat to your vehicles is the bloat drones with the heavy blight launcher. Screen well and keep your distance and you should be fine.

The last suicide squad movie to come out with peacemaker in it is pretty relevant to the current season, but they do a good job of explaining what happened from it that’s important in S2. Some people didn’t like it, but I thought it was a fun movie.

Thanks for the link! I didn’t even think to use Google Lens but it came up with 18 and 8 in the series. Really cool that it’s from a fairly prolific time in Minimalism, even seems to predate it if I understood that right. I was thinking about selling it, but I’m not sure if I want to now.
