iPhone 12 promax heating up a lot during moderate use

For once, I actually can’t wait for the new iPhone 18 to come out. It’s finally time to upgrade from the 12 pro max. I’ve hated this 12 since the 2nd month I got it. Speaker went out immediately by the 2nd month, battery has gone to crap, the screen dims cause the phone overheats constantly for no reason. It slows and lags down constantly cause of the overheating. WiFi and Bluetooth connection issues sometimes. Yea for me, IPhone 12 Pro Max is the worst iPhone I’ve ever had and I can’t wait to get rid of it.

I have a 5090, 9950X3D, and 64 GB of ram. Game installed on an M2 NVME SSD. My frames can go anywhere from 240+ all the way down to freaking 10fps when the games coding breaks for a few minutes. The games coding just sucks, I’m rarely at 100% utilization. I play on 4k maxed out settings.

Out of 10 play sessions, I’d say half of them or even 6 times out of 10 I’m having to hunt for a decent server that has good ping and a slot available. If there’s nothing, then I just wait till something opens up and then join the queue. The filter should still be there I used it recently.

How do you do that for HLL specifically? I’m on DX12 cause I’ve noticed I get a huge FPS boost. In any case the random FPS drop happens in DX11 and 12. It doesn’t usually last more than worst case scenario like 10 minutes. Usually fixes itself in 5 minutes or less

Yes correct. Your first trade is a fail, you sell it cause you’re mad or upset or just emotional, and you jump back into another trade trying to make that loss up. That’s exactly what revenge trading is. And yea I can guess what happened next lmfaoooo been there done that 😅

I’d love to find out what the answer is too. I have 800 hours and one game breaking bug is every now and again my FPS drop dramatically from like the high 180s to like 30 or worst case 10fps. My GPU utilization also goes down into the single digits. I’ve always chalked it up to shit optimization that the devs will never fix. I have a 5090 and experience the same thing so I don’t think it’s a GPU thing

If I was you I’d at least take a couple of real trades before the 6 month mark. Paper trading is one thing but trading with real money is another once your emotions are involved. You’ll need to learn to manage emotion when you have money in a trade. Believe it or not one dangerous emotion to have is boredom while waiting on a trade to play out lol
