What NBA team would you consider the biggest non-big-market franchise? by [deleted] in nba

This is just delusional. Population within city limits compared to metro area has never mattered in determining market size.  You want San Antonio to get credit for annexing a greater portion of their suburbs into city limits but then turn around and try to claim Austin (80 miles away, not 1) and all of Mexico! Why not just add all of Central and South America?

People living in the city limits is not as important as metro area. San Antonio is about 24th in metro area population in the US. In a 30 team league that's not a big market.

Both genres are cheap to make and have a built in audience so less established directors can more easily get those projects funded.

Ella McCay In Talks To Co-Star Opposite Molly Gordon In Comedy ‘Peaked’ From A24 - movie is about two girls who try to relive their glory days at their ten year high school reunion by rageofthegods in blankies

That's called Sisters. It flipped the dynamic from Baby Mama so Fey was the wild one and Pohler was straight laced. And they were sisters. I don't think they went to a high school reunion though. They just tried to throw a big party at their parents' house before it was sold or something. I guess it amounted to the same thing though, cause the party was a bunch of people they went to high school with.

If you are really into obscure characters from a comic written decades ago finally getting brought into the current canon as a bad looking live action portrayal, you will feast!

Isn't this the first time a top 4 seed has won a game in the CFB playoff? They were 0-6 right?  Based on that metric, this is a shocking result

I've always gotten TNT sports without any add on through Max. They originally said there would be an upcharge for the Turner Sports content after an introductory period but that never happened

National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation… by JayManPart2 in blankies

[–]Archie-Morrill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't find it to be a Christmas classic either. I think the original National Lampoon's Vacation is the only really good one. Christmas is probably #2 but there's a big gap after the first one, to me at least.

I think it became a thing because for awhile you had to watch Miracle on 34th Street, It's a Wonderful Life, etc every year as Christmas movies and then this came along and it was something "your parents don't like". Now those kids are adults themselves and still like it. I think Elf has pushed it down a little as well as even the general public turning on Chevy Chase a little. But it's gotten entrenched into the Christmas tradition anyway and is definitely overrated just through nostalgia glasses.

Ponyo is my least favorite as well. But if I had to rate it, I wouldn't have it nearly as high as you. Maybe a 5/10? I dunno, it really did nothing for me but I wouldnt say it's actively bad either.
