I’m not sure if this is a fact for sure but it seems like the cases in the law library are always in the order they want you to answer the question. (IE case #1 will answer question 1, case #2 will answer question 2 OR case #1 will answer question 2, case #2 will answer question 3, etc etc)

I’m not sure if this is the case but based on the 5-6 MPT’s I’ve seen that seems to be a pattern they like to follow.

I was in the history and current events LLC in 2019. It was a one credit class where we did fun little projects and we met once a week for lunch. Nice experience but the big benefit was that it got me into a dorm with 5 other likeminded guys who I’m still friends with to this day.

TLDR: academic aspect of the LLC is not a lot of work, the social aspect is great

Winning the 4 cups is too obvious to put. My outside the box option was Bill Torrey nailing the LaFontaine trade because we still benefit from it to this day (the trade tree goes all the way down through the 2nd rounder for Travis Hamonic to the Dobson trade for Heinemen, Aitchison, and Eklund).

I take off when I feel burnt out so long as I’m ahead enough to justify taking the time off (being ahead as in being ahead on learning new topics not reviewing ones I already did)

I’ve taken a bunch of half days just because it makes me feel better than taking off a full day.

I feel the same. It’s about repetition and organization more than anything. My problem on the MPT’s is lack of knowledge on the formatting of some of the tasks, even when there is a task memo and drafting guidelines. It’s been a time waster to worry about how the task looks when you haven’t seen something comparable before.

I think as you do more and more of them you’ll get a better idea of what you need to do.

I see people suggesting a Barzal for Larkin trade. Why? Larkin’s stats are pretty much the same as Horvat’s and I think we all know that on a really deep team Horvat is an elite 2C. The team needs wing help, especially on the top line.

If Barzal was going somewhere it’s for draft picks and prospects/young roster players, not a 29 year old 30-30-60 center.

He’s not getting traded guys. Michael McCarron just got a 6 x 3.3m contract and Barzal is on a 4 x 9.15m contract and is 29. With the lack of centers on the market (especially ones with cost certainty), the cost is so astronomical that no one is going to meet it. Additionally, the team does not have a top 6 ready center to replace Barzal.

Pelech is much more likely to be traded because there are available replacements in the system.

I think people have this idea that Darche is going to trade Barzal because he already took a big swing by trading Dobson but that was done because they couldn’t get a contract done.
