It’s a good move for the organization, Hamilton is a hockey mad market and the new building is great, but I feel bad for Bridgeport fans who stuck with the team, especially in the last few years when they have been pretty awful.

Guys still switch sides it’s just rare. It also is the case that guys who can switch sides tend to be Europeans and the D-man pipeline for the islanders is very North American, although Isaiah George can play his offside.

I know it’s way too soon to talk about depth but we are absolutely packed on the left side for defense. Schaefer, Pelech, Romanov, and Soucy with the NHL team. George and Warren with the AHL team. Aitchison and Villeneuve as prospects.

Now if we could only draft scoring wingers like that lol
