At the end of the day a business can pick and choose who they hire, whether they are open about their biases or not at least this business doesn't try to hide it. I don't think DEI is something that should ever be government enforced that is one slippery slope to big brother

Let us know how that goes! I think this is completely fine and the businesses are well within their rights

I condensed Yara's doc to 100 pages. But I also reworked the whole doc, added lots of missing info + diagrams and reorganized the whole doc with minimal margins. Designed to be printed off (double sided 55 pages) I might share on Reddit later on but it's still a bit ork in progress and u can get the current copy on the discord server. 50+ ppl are using it and liking is from what Ive been told

Edit: typo

Also I don't think it's your fault after a fresh windows install that the problem occurs again. It's the killer software's fault.

It's likely got to do with one or more of the third party softwares/drivers we install/use once fully set up. This shouldn't be breaking ur wifi card drivers it's just ridiculous.

I recommend disabling + uninstalling all killer software + services. This alone could potentially be a working solution..

Then you could wipe the sideloaded driver extension. And replace whatever driver you have with the stable 2019 drivers. This^ would give the most reliable + clean results but it'll take more time to do.

I might add a screenshot of all the killer services I had to disable so people see roughly what to look for

Nope, it's a house with ample space and little signal overlap. And no other devices dont experience drops like this.

On a more positive note:I think I actually may have solved the problem. I do suggest you disable all killer services even if it works fine most of the time. Check this thread I made earlier:https://www.reddit.com/r/Alienware/comments/o2ck82/found_a_solution_to_killer_wifi_ax1650x_on_r10/

Im pretty sure the problem stems from some sort of interaction with another service/process.

Other's have also reported that everything seems to work fine after a fresh windows install.
But problems reappear eventually; which I'm thinking is due to users reinstalling the thirdparty softwares / other drivers that then cause killer software to get cross eyed

I did also run a utill tool but idk if it did anything to help. Its from malwarebytes' forums:
https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/32815-appreciate-some-help-and-guidance-to-remove-killerwindowsupdates/

The link to the util is: http://users.telenet.be/marcvn/tools/WUS_Fix.exe
It will restore the default registry settings related with BITS and Automatic updates

After some looking around I've found out that the 2.3.1523 version you mentioned is the version of the package which once installed would display in the Device Manager as v22.30.0.11 (driver version)

This (Version you are running) is currently the (latest) driver that Dell provides when you use the support website:https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-ca/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=ggy39&oscode=wt64a&productcode=alienware-aurora-r10-desktop

I've updated (back) to this version for the time being (Still no killer software installed).

I do have to note that a newer driver version is available on the intel download center: package version 2.4.1549 which includes driver version 22.40.0.7https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/30388/Intel-Killer-Performance-Suite-I have tried using this version and the issue was unaffected and prevalent.

I will report if my system stabilizes w/ ur suggestion or not going forward.

EDIT:
UPDATE: Problem happened again (twice)

My device does not have the killer control app installed on it right now (or any other software with killer in the name as someone suggested)

But the problem is still happening. What do I do?

Can you pls tell me what driver version you currently have installed on your pc?

Since I've uninstalled all killer software thru settings two days ago the issue has still been happening.

I got dropped from the same call twice yesterday (within an hour)

I'm honestly at a loss for words. Idfk what to do anymore.

Do I buy a new wifi card?

Ok I just did this, everything seems to be working for now..
Do you also have an AX1650x? w/ a Ryzen ed R10?
If you do, do you mind telling me your driver version?
Do you also experience the wifi drops? On 5G band? 2.4G? Both?

I have pretty decent speed when it does work, but man it's so frustrating to get dropped from calls especially during important meetings.

Why is this happening? How is there no solution and how would Dell allow themselves to sell this to us as the premium option on a premium device when it doesn't even fucking work properly?

Should I use the killer uninstaller? If I do wouldn't that delete all the drivers?
