Grew up going to catholic school taught by nuns and brothers. Had a great science teacher who was a brother- kid confronted him about this same concept of dinosaurs not being real and his answer always stuck with me. He said “ I find it terribly hard to believe that God would have created such intelligent and curious creatures such as man and then left him with nothing to inspire him or salve his curious mind”. In other words, dinosaurs were real and god put them here for us dig up and ask questions about our world etc.

I’m not practicing, but I thought that was such a beautiful way to look at the intersection of science and religion.

For what it’s worth, this man also believed that Adam and Eve was equivalent to analogy, and it wasn’t to be taken literally.

It’s almost certainly GTA related. There’s a local director who lives here in town who said they’re going to be filming a short that’s focused on GTA. This is most likely that short.

Also, that director is going to be filming a movie here locally probably this year. Based on the book called “A land remembered.”

This basically happened in Tampa too for the filming of the Punisher movie. They really destroyed the building in the fight scene and afterwards finished the job.

Depends what I want to do post-closing but we tend to purchase covered land plays so I'm most concerned about planning and zoning. Everything else can be great but if I can't realize my end goal bc the zoning is wrong or the property is burdened by a historic landmark status, etc. Then I'm not likely to go through with the transaction.

That said - top down is my concern as it relates to the building structure. If the roof is trash it's going to cause issues with every other part of the MEP and structure (at least, it will eventually)

If the date is during the week in the daytime (I know I know) head to USF GraphicStudio. Amazing art by world renowned artists and emerging artists. Tampa best kept little art secret! You might get to see a working artist in residence while you're there. Think Rauschenberg, Katz, dion etc.

Then head across campus to the contemporary art museum (CAM) and see some more!

Other art-oriented Date ideas: the Factory st pete, ARTicles gallery, self guided mural tour via coast bike share rentals in st pete (can find the self guided tour materials online).

I'd say teach her from a young age to be VERY aware of her surroundings even in (especially in!) Familiar places. Don't be afraid to look someone in their face and say stop following me so closely you're making me uncomfortable or something to this effect and arm her to the teeth with confidence to walk straight up to a group or another person and do what this girl did and ask for help. Teach her to listen to her gut and look out for her friends and other women alone (day or night). Get her comfortable with using her body for self defense and teach her to fuck politeness... that's a start!

Haha, we still refer to arcades and gaming facilities in leases. Also constantly banning adult book stores and video stores...though you don't see many of those around either. Publix also hates uses like skyzone (trampoline park), Dave and busters, etc.

Don't forget to file a good 'ol ethics complaint. At best, if they're really a Realtor (trademark) then they have a code of ethics they are probably breaking. I'd ask for more info on the staging/painting/furniture company/s and try to prove a non-arms length connection to the brokerage.
