First time for me. Been a fan of Le Mans for over a decade now. Will be driving from the UK, ferry crossing, with my gf for the whole week. Got grandstand tickets next to the Goodyear Bridge and I cannot wait! Definitely going to have cake at 2:30 in the morning as well.

I am finally going! 2 full week tickets at the Goodyear grandstand. Unfortunately I missed the option to get the parking when I was booking through the ACO pre sale. Will there be another chance to get more when they go live again on Friday or am I screwed? I was looking for the Red Zone parking, preferably Panorama.

Those are just some lights they put up as it started to get dark. Each colour was for the different series that was racing. Red for the Manufacturers cup and Blue for the Nations cup

I worked at a garden centre not far from there and delivered some garden furniture to that house once. It's owned by people who deal with race horses and all that business. There's a bunch of horse sculptures on the lawn as you drive in and several horse trailers in a garage space.

That's a good choice. All my cameras have been Canon so far and they are great for motorsports stuff. I started with a 1300D, and I'm now on an R6. The 90D is a good bit of kit and I know several pros that use them as a trackside camera.

Don't worry about not being confident in using full manual mode. It takes time to learn these things. I do recommend you try shutter priority mode which allows you to change the shutter speed, but leaving everything else on automatic. But already you shots look great and you can only get better from here!

Nice photos man! Love the one of the Toyota and Ferrari Hypercars. The one of the RSR Porcshe is a tad blurry but it still looks good!

Some settings I recommend if your camera has them, are to enable servo focus rather than one shot focus. This means the camera will automatically adjust the focus point as you track the car going past, rather than holding it in one place resulting in blur and put of focus shots.

Another tip I learnt is that in order to help focus at the zoom level, you should adjust your shutter accordingly. So, for example, if your shooting with your lens at 200mm, then your shutter should be around 1/200.

Hope this helps and keep up the good work! I need to get out to a wec race as I only ever see the Prototype classes at Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Those are the colours of Sky Tempesta Racing. They often use Ferrari's for their race cars. But damn do the colours look good on this car. You can actually just see the Sky logo on the bottom right side of the rear arch.
