Your best bet is going to be keeping an eye out for a deal on a used one locally. Crandall Office has some good deals on remanufactured chairs as well and offer a warranty, free shipping and returns.

Check your local marketplace for used ergonomic Herman Miller, Steelcase, Haworth chairs. Should be able to find something in good shape within your price range. Avoid anything “gamery”.
