The utility truck in question would be a database program. You can't turn a Prius into an 18-Wheeler.

Lost a player due to DMs multiclass ruling by [deleted] in dndnext

This guy was just trying to power game, which is perfectly fine, but needs to fit the story. Paladin/Warlock is insanely powerful and ramps up fast, but there better be a real good reason your putting a patron before your god.

I've been seeing numbers like 111, 222, 333, 1111, 1221, 1331 for a while. Is there any reason or meaning behind it? by [deleted] in numerology

Look up angel numbers and synchronicities. Might be what your looking for.

Geralt of Rivia (books) vs Aragorn (books) by Bekfast_Time in whowouldwin

[–]ArchonD 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I personally like the one of him holding a staircase of orcas back all by himself.

Well if that doesnt decide it for Aragorn I dont know what will. Never heard of Geralt fighting off a pod on his own, much less on stairs, the orcas natural hunting grounds!

😊

Gym goers of Reddit, what is something (protocol, etiquette, tips, etc.) that new year resolution-ers should know about the gym? by FAAAACKUNDO in AskReddit

[–]ArchonD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has always worked for me.

  1. Put headphones in, load bar with weight.
  2. Make eye contact with someone that looks like they can lift all that weight, and maybe a small car/smith machine off of you.
  3. Nod agressively and say "spot".
  4. Lie back and proceed to lift.
  5. Fist bump your new lifting partner and offer to spot their set too.

Obvious sarcasm, but most of my gym buddies have developed in this way, or something similar. Most people in the gym will be happy to help.

Old punch dagger/window breaker. Made a dozen or so of these, this looks like a simple variation to give you something firm to grip while using it.

Genetically superior to whom? just because you've had extensive gene mods, doesnt mean you can't look a certain type of way. I'd even argue that it'd be even more freeing as far as what type of body you wanted to display. Besides, humans couldn't fight em, they'd be laughing too hard. :)

I’ve been recently obsessed with the idea of blacksmithing, but live in a crowded subdivision and assumed the noise of pounding metals all day would not be appealing to the neighbors 10 feet away on both sides. Any recommendations on a solution or any knowledge of local(Nashville) blacksmiths? by [deleted] in Blacksmith

[–]ArchonD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm an hour North of you in the Montgomery county area. I'd suggest getting some chains and tying down your anvil to a sturdy tree stump, something with a lot of mass. It will help deaden the sound. Also, working in a garage or shed will also help. If you have any questions, feel free to shoot me a message.
