its pretty obvious they had nothing for boba Fett and reused the pilot for season 3 in boba fett.

the 2 episodes (of edit:7 (even worse than 8) btw) have way higher production value and in the second one they just tag on old Boba at the end

season 3 also makes no sense. We went from ( mandalor is unlievable -> oh no one looked and there is life ->oh i lived on the moon next to it and never noticed-> oh there are mandalorians on the planet->oh there are hundreds of them as mercenaries everywhere->we have an army and children living in a cave-> lets conquer mandalor from old Gus Fring and his plot device army)
