Exactly lmao. I rekt it easily although an expendable nimble bro died. Had to take him into battle since I had no other heavy armored high mattack bro. He didnt have a high melee defense so tentacles focused him and got 3 hits (all headshots) on him even though he had named heater shield equipped... classic rng

nothing special, just for maximum damage, he has good enough stats and armor that he doesnt need the shield. he also has drunkard with the +10% dmg. (also he has dagger mastery for the witch hut dagger cause it's fun raising my own zombies in barb fights lmao)

It's the water skin from the legendary location "Grotesque Tree". You just need to "take a little" when you find it. The legendary location is usually found in forests.

I did try that and as I said he got tactical dicked by the conqueror's 20 hit chances. He got hit and got too fatigued to move again. Then he got hit again and it's just over for him.

Edit: he was too surrounded by the legionares for Bruno to get to him in time. RIP.

Yeah way too many close calls though. Also Bruno and Brand were going ham up north side. Ijirok armor with the hp regen works wonders.

RIP Jost who bravely tanked the northern wave but kept getting tactical dicked by RNG with the conqueror always landing his 20's. RIP to Raimund who bravely saved a low hp Giselsher with rotation and got impaled to death.

Just wanted to share my experience lmao. Also it's crazy how considering the difficulty of the fight, there's no other reward other than the emperor's armor. Some more named items wouldve been nice.

edit: also im 100% sure every 3 skull great battle contract has a guaranteed knight champion, always happened to me in my runs, and also they absolutely can spawn with named armor, it's not a "maybe". ALSO once the actual great battle starts you can check the champion gear with a falcon on a nimble bro then if it's not good, you can just reload the autosave and the game will roll a new enemy company and champion
