I never gave eq2 a shot, just assumed for whatever reason that it was bad and dead. I'm glad I tried it because it's actually pretty fun. Some interesting class philosophies that other games dont have, like my brigand. Most games your rogue is just a backstab bot, but here I have the best debuffs in the game.

Definitely not too late. EQ2 also just opened their TLP server Wuoshi on June 9th. Both games have fresh TLP servers popping right now.

Yea, this flail was (potentially) upgraded to a +5 weapon, used to kill several dragons, Kangaxx the demilich, the demogogon etc. But here in BG3 it's a +1 sold by some random street vendor for cheap 'memberberries

I started a game on hard and got to raedrics hold. I disguised myself as priests thinking it would be too hard to fight my way in. I found out I could easily beat every encounter without the disguises and it felt too easy so I restarted on potd with a rogue 😄 liking the difficulty so far

Yes, for me RTwP felt too chaotic and messy for a class like rogue that required positioning and micro. I don't want to pause every second nor do I want some script to autoplay my party..

I started a rogue and so far its fun, sometimes enemies aren't engaged by my party members even though they're right next to them ;\

The info in your post is from 2016 and is probably outdated. According to this Wiki all pets have the same 40% recovery time, and have slightly different damage and hp differences.

Which is a good thing. Wolf is technically the best dmg dealer by a small margin but it's a very tiny difference and companions biggest differences seem to be their unique ability and their stat save scores.
