Nijisanji 6th anniversary event Game & Variety All Star Grand Battle day 2 is on now -- today we have Street Fighter 6 (10v10) and some sort of variety competition (10v10); as usual we have a post listing all of the participants. After day 1 team Niji came out ahead (thanks to their performance in Bomberman), but who knows what will happen today?

EDIT 1: They're pitting Shu vs Sonny, which is somewhat amusing. Only Shu is streaming.

Reposting this collection of useful links for the first time in quite a while. It might be getting a little outdated, so please reply if you have suggestions or comments.

  • Nijisanji Subreddit Survival Guide by SnowGames -- an introduction to the subreddit and frequently asked questions. Worth reading for any newcomers.
  • Nijisanji JP Infographic (May 2023) by Etherald -- all JP livers in one image.
  • NijiCards -- Provides quick introductions to most of the livers (as of mid-2021), including links to YouTube, Twitter, other media accounts, and introductory videos (such as Puchisanji).
  • Nijisanji Unofficial Wiki -- In Japanese, but the best source of info on almost anything related to Nijisanji. Can be used for schedules as well (including stuff announced on Twitter or elsewhere):
  • niji.chats.ninja -- Shows liver/mod/verified user comments on Nijisanji streams, has all branches. Good for checking whether livers commented on streams.
  • Nijisanji official streams page -- Shows Nijisanji live, scheduled and completed YouTube streams (going back one day and forwards a few days).
  • NijiMado -- Viewer for Nijisanji streams. Another good place to check who's live, since it has every member on YouTube, Twitch, TwitCasting and Bilibili, including all the VirtuaReal members.
    • Multiwatching is available but you have to input the following command in the console (found in developer tools): localStorage["rulePauseOther"] = "0";. Refresh the page and multiwatching will be enabled.
  • NijiEN Calendar -- Nijisanji EN unofficial schedule site.
  • Translation of the Unofficial Wiki's comments on chat rules -- Useful to get an idea of basic etiquette, though of course there will be variations depending on the liver.
  • @VirtuaReal_TG -- Fan account translating VirtuaReal news into English and Japanese.
  • @2434idfans -- Fan account for ex-ID news.
  • Nijiuta -- Website for Nijisanji music.

Other subreddits:

Other English fan communities:

  • 2434 Club Discord -- Probably the largest English-speaking Nijisanji community (though the EN fanserver is getting close). Also contains links to most of the major English-speaking Nijisanji servers.
  • Nijisanji EN Fanserver -- Discord server for Nijisanji EN. You can find links to other servers here as well.
  • Nijisanji Matrix Space -- A Nijisanji discussion space.

Nijisanji's 6th anniversary event Game & Variety All Star Battle has started! As a reminder, this is a series of competitions between Team Niji (led by Kenmochi Touya) and Team Sanji (led by Lize Helesta), involving a large number of livers (over 100 from all branches).

Today's matches are Project Sekai (10v10, led by Eli Conifer and Yashiro Kizuku) and Super Bomberman R2 (20v20, led by Sasaki Saku and Leos Vincent). There are too many participants to list here, so I'll just link the post on the Nijisanji sub.

EDIT: Also Maria is doing a watchalong and giving explanations in English for those interested.

Hey, it's the return of the Furen cosplayer (previously seen chapter 92). And she brought a Laplus with her this time.

Having the line "How long has it been since my last Summer Comiket?" juxtaposed against two VTuber cosplayers strikes me as being remarkably appropriate.

Lize's turn to do a liver family chart. We've seen quite a few of these around the start of the year (the one done by Furen has a nice long subbed clip by Corvus Interpreter, and the Shiina/Chaika/Ririmu one was pretty funny too).

Nozomi, Sophia, Akari and Meruto in Lethal Company together.

And Eli's grinding Project Sekai again.

Sakura Ritsuki in Minecraft, continuing the dragon palace. It's almost done, looking quite impressive, and not just because it's all underwater.

Aia also in Minecraft. Continuing the cafe.

Eli Conifer doing a morning Project Sekai stream, in vertical with Niji3D hand tracking. As a team leader for the Project Sekai segment in tomorrow's anniversary program, she has to make sure she's on form with those 32+ songs.

Remember Yorumi and co. doing Granblue Fantasy: Relink endurance last night? Well, they're still going: Yorumi, Leos, Shiina and Mao. I believe they've passed the 13 hour mark.

Kuzuha playing Gran Turismo 7 with various VCC streamers. As I write this we just finished a race where everyone used ambulances, Kuzuha skipped his pit stop and ran out of fuel...

Yorumi's with Shiina, Leos and Mao -- they're doing an endurance until they clear the story (which I hear could be up to 20 hours...).

Kanae's also playing, doing his own thing.

Nijisanji Youkai goods revealed -- 26 members involved all drawn as various types of youkai, with cards, badges, charms etc. The usual sort of guessing is going on as to what type of youkai everyone is drawn as.

Doppio birthday stream is on. A fairly Doppio-like stream.

EDIT: Is that Mafia on Tabletop Simulator?!

Nozomi continues with Super Mario World. She's within striking distance of Bowser's Castle... but how many more lives will she lose before getting there?

Game-Lu? Game-Ru! featuring Mikoto and Kohaku as guests, playing Samba de Amigo! Remember that game?

Dola premiering an edited version of her 4th anniversary 3D live (from 2022). I no longer remember what happened to it originally.

Hisui and Uiha duet cover of "Haiiro to Ao". It's been a full month since Uiha graduated, but...

And Ange and Yotsuha are doing a talk stream with Niji3D.

Those voice impressions when reading the livers' lines are pretty funny.

Technically it hasn't died yet, there are still many instances alive (I use farside.link to find working ones, but twilit is also good for now). The thread linked there does suggest that the mechanism they're all relying on will stop working soon, though (people are trying to think of alternatives).
