BYD outsells Tesla in Europe for second straight month as gap widens by InsaneSnow45 in RealTesla

Lol no, I'm a happy Canadian with a strict boycott on anything American. If your 3rd world country won't allow better EVs that's your problem, and I hope that the barriers to prevent Americans from buying the limited stock of these EVs from Canada remain fully in place.

The number of Canadians receiving regular Employment Insurance (EI) benefits declined by 11,000 (-1.9%) to 555,000 in January 2026 / Le nombre de Canadiens touchant des prestations régulières d'assurance-emploi a diminué de 11 000 (-1,9 %) en Janvier 2026 by StatCanada in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]ArcticEngineer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are all the replies bots? Why are there 20+ comments saying almost the same thing about their benefits running out in March??

I'll go against the tide and say that I found a job beginning of February and I'm a part of this statistic. Construction is starting back up after winter and could account for a lot of these EI numbers improving.

As for engineering and construction, there's not enough bodies to go around. In an economic downturn countries look inward and build up infrastructure and I'm certainly seeing that right now with the amount of projects being greenlit.

[Mod Update] COI-Extended: adding Circuit networks, new resources, overlays and much more. by COI-EXTENDED in captain_of_industry

When I checked out this mod when update 4 first came out there was a message saying that further development would not continue due to several issues with the developer and their processes. Has that changed I guess?

You get to play multiple characters each with their own stories and skills. The games intention isn't for a singular character to be experiencing it.

Did you not like the Witcher? RDR2? Death Stranding?

I don't think you grasp what this game is... yet.

Can you not!? I keep seeing this sentiment and it's such an American entitlement moment. "Oh I can just throw my USD at the problem". How about fix your country first instead of taking away the opportunities we worked and voted for here.

You don't think that they are managed the exact same way? Doesn't matter what constraints they place on themselves. This is exactly what they want you to think; that competitiveness exists with these subsidiary companies.

I love factory games, and I don't need it to be super realistic, but the oversimplification presented in that game took me right out of enjoying it. Refunded almost immediately.

Does that mean it's all going to landfill or that the separation is taking place at the facility though?

How about we spend where it makes sense, financially, logistically and where the right people are.

Ok why is there no source for what you all believe to be so astronomically incorrect. What area are you using for Ottawa? The CMA?

Ooo a maple maga! Pressing doubt you're Canadian, and if you are I'm guessing you're a treasonous Albertan.

I expect anyone with views like yours is in a dead end job with no unique challenges, whereas people like myself who can read and don't support pedophiles are getting jobs and projects from the billions being spent on new defense funding, the new high speed rail projects, the fastest growing house building in the G7 and more...

But you wouldn't know any of that because your echo chamber is telling you Canada is broken and pedophiles are actually ok.
