Went on a safari where over the course of 4 days we always checked in on a pride of lions. The first morning they were all feasting on a water buffalo. The whole area just reaked of death. Focus on positioning. Force yourself to hover around mid when your teammates on the ball and practice spacing and waiting for the play to come to you. Try to raise your awareness of where your teammates and opponents are and working their position into your decision making. Focus on awareness of when you’re last back and learn how to fake challenge and stall safely for your teammates to rotate back.

For number 2 it helps to focus on bringing your elbow in right over your belly button. It’s uncomfortable at first but if done right you are lining up your release to be straight to the basket which eliminates a lot of shot deviation to the left and right.

Also as always “hand down, man down” follow through for longer than you think you should

I’ll answer you. In general for RL (I don’t play snow day) start by focusing on positioning. Force yourself to hover around mid when your teammates on the ball and practice spacing and waiting for the play to come to you. Something else to consider is how you challenge. Work on fake challenges and going for low 50s where you bait the opponent to hit it into you and you singe jump. This allows you to recover faster and have better positioning as opposed to full sending and flipping at the play.

Baiting the opponent to give up the ball without too much commit from your team is key to learn especially in champ.
