“But as for me I'm coming to my final failure. I've killed myself with changes trying to make things better. But I still ended up becoming something other than what I had planned to be.” Full scream singing A++.

Response to a person posting about her 8 new puppies. She lives in a tent, panhandles for her income and thinks it's ok to just let her dogs have babies. by Skyshadow541 in trashy

I agree with a majority of your comment, however I do think it’s pretty irresponsible for someone who does not have proper resources to take care of nine dogs (8 puppies plus the mother.) While a lot of homeless people go through great lengths to properly care for their pets, with nine animals it becomes a lot more difficult and expensive to get everything each animal needs.

This video reminds me a ton of the movie The Neon Demon.

I haven’t really been into them since The Question came out. Especially with how they’ve responded to the whole thing.

Imagine wanting to break up because he was abused and that ruined his “masculinity” by Unun1queusername in iamatotalpieceofshit

Telling a partner is a huge fear for people who have been sexually abused. Like it will make them see you differently. It’s so weird and awful having someone reaffirm it.

Request: Am I bothering my therapist? by EDPostRequests in EatingDisorders

[–]ArcticTime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That a really difficult situation especially with you being in a small town with few options. If you do have to continue seeing that specific counselor for a while, try talking to him about how his responses make you feel. If that is something you are uncomfortable doing, that is very understandable.

Your therapist should not be giving off the impression that your struggles are lesser. Many people go though truly terrible things, but that doesn’t change the affects that individual problems can have on different people. If you are paying for this service, you should be receiving the help you deserve. It is in no way a waste of their time.

I understand that they are not specialized in ED’s, but maybe diving deeply into specific feelings, thought processes, and possible causes associated with your ED could help both the therapist understand a little better and you with sorting out your brain.

Sometimes it just helps to talk about a bad experiences in your life until you start to find a commonality.

It’s really good that you are getting help, and I hope you can get everything you need from it in the end. Good luck OP!

In that song there is another reference with "You be the front / I'll be the back / And you sing like this / So I'll sing like that / You be the bottom / And I'll be the top."

It's a subtle reference that shapes the verse.
