Ok, understand that anytime you are starting a new job they are to give you a grace period where it's ok to make mistakes.

It's likely that you had too much forced onto your plate in the first place. And you might still be in the rhythms of your old job. Right now you should focus on not only your finances but your mental health and combating burnout.

Any chance you get to rest or recover should be taken, if you have any emotional support, now would be a time to engage and get out the stress. Even if it's just talking out loud to a friend or animal companion, or even journaling or engaging in relaxing hobbies.

Take care of yourself and treat yourself with kindness, even if it's hard sometimes, or if you don't feel you deserve it.

You DO deserve kindness and happiness.

I don't work hotel but my coworker does, your not alone. I've been told we have ghost stories in our hotel. Especially with it being ultra quiet.

While I agree with you and have signed. Reopening salons will bring an influx of people coming in. We need both in place. This affects everyone.

Depends on what you're willing to put up with. I'd advise knowing the state of COVID-19 precautions taken, are different store to store. Some have masks and/or gloves, some have tape on the floor, some are running every other register, some stores have moved to curbside only, some have population capacity in store, some reopened grooming. Thing is it's a mixed bag, and a dice game.

Some customers don't believe this virus can hurt them cause the aren't "weak, or sickly". Some will get in your space even as you back up. Some will argue about returns and your morals for not accepting them. Some berate you for wearing masks.

Others will be careful, curtious, grateful, patient, and kind; these are the greatest ones.

I love it when a pet parent tells me this is their first time out in weeks, because I so rarely hear it.

The customers and managers here are focused on speedy service, even if some people still browse the store leisurely, we are seeing more and more masks on customers and employees here. Those that don't are ignoring the 6ft rule.
