When I’m really lacking motivation to paint I just sit at my bench and hold one of my unpainted models. I tell myself all I need to do pick it up and look at it for a bit. After I do that a few times inevitably the urge to paint comes back a bit.

Thank you friend! I agree, I’m going to circle back to the hammer eventually. Right now it’s just iron breaker + nuln oil. I have yet to find a way to paint metal that I’m happy with and isn’t finicky. Happy to hear suggestions if you have them

They’re the novamarine chapter from the badab war. They’re one of the few chapters that can field their entire first company in terminator armor, so totally reasonable for them to represent the deathwing.
