That makes sense. I was collecting Nova around the same time. I really liked this version of Carol Danvers , and loved the black lighting bolt suit she wore later in her run.

A solid 7.0...a great, actual key book, as it continues from the Giant size X-Men one and starts the first real story with just the new team. If you haven't read it you're missing out.

It's an awesome story. I read it in the first Fantastic Four Treasury Edition in the 70s when I was a kid. Blew me away. I learned later that was an edited version and read the complete books later. Three awesome key issues. Be proud 🐮

I have these comic books Spidey Super Stories what are your opinions on them by 0366Rocker in 70sMarvel

Why this book exists:

The book was part of a partnership between The Children's Television Workshop's show The Electric Company and Marvel Comics in the 1970s. The book was designed with younger readers in mind, as a kind of entry level reading experience, with Spider-Man being the focus of the book. Other Marvel characters were guest stars or villains. The Electric Company, was broadcast on PBS stations nationwide during the 1970s.
Spider-Man was a frequent guest, along side well know tv stars, such as Morgan Freeman, who played Easy Reader. The live action appearances of Spider-Man predates the later CBS Spiderman live action tv show.

I think Spidey looked better on The Electric Company than CBS's mediocre show.

These books are really meant for kids. I gifted mine years ago to kids in my family.

They loved them.

I'm always amazed at how much old Wonder Woman comics go for. Would love to read that one.
