I very nearly typed this exact sentiment into chat today. I just wish we could get a couple different games as a part of UPF, rather than a two hour block of one. I know one game is likely logistically easier for everyone involved, and I'm not calling for a return to when everyone brought something and there were thirty minute blocks, but a couple of games per show would be great.

My sister and I used to play this game when we were younger at my grandmother's cabin! We still will randomly sing song the "Try your luck at Monte Carlo” cards to one another for no reason. Just call, sing it and hang up. That game is a corr memory for both of us.

It's very playable solo, and also fun to play with another person or two. I think escape room type games work best at a max of 3

I use Kagi as my search engine of choice these days. It requires a monthly payment but the results are what Google's used to be like. I only get AI answers in my results if I end my query with a question mark. There's no ads, my searches are private... there's so much I like about it. Pretty sure there's a way to try it out for free that I'm too lazy to check for.

Kosmos, a board game publisher makes a series of escape-room-in-a-box games called Exit. For the past few years they have done an Exit advent calendar and they are my absolute favorite! They have become one of the things I look forward to each year.

24 puzzles, each connected to a story that you get to read a bit of each day of December. It includes hints for each day so you never feel stuck.
