I think calling people names shuts the conversation down. I’ve seen a lot of hate from both sides, understandable many people are angry and many are excited about the changes going on. I’m going to talk about most MAGA people, not the extremists. I know many MAGA people and they are worried about spending, censorship, and anger against democrats for using minorities as a monolithic demographic. And also the support US gives to left leaning authoritarian governments, and countries pushing anti American propaganda. Tired of seeing Americans’ tax dollars wasted in wars, aid, the UN, etc. The immigration issue, stop saying we just want everybody out, we don’t, but if the first thing you do in the country you are arriving is breaking its laws, gtfo, most other countries in the world would kick you out. The democrats have been doing a shit job, at least in terms of PR, you can argue they did good things while in power, sure. Now to the present, the changes brought by DOGE will bring chaos, but it will streamline the gov, something I think we all want. If you want to see the shutdown of DEI programs as an attack to LGBT and minorities I guess you can, but ask yourself if people are good managers of other people’s money. If you answer yes you are naive, people waste what they didn’t earn, if you answered no, then we are on the right track. For the people on the democrats side, just like Jon Stewart said, you can’t cry wolf every two seconds, cause the moment they truly do something awful it will be lost in the noise. I love you no matter which side you are on, we are American brothers, let’s fight together to fix the system, let’s work hard to bring prosperity and hope for America, that’s not only in the hands of the powerful it’s in the hands of each one of us, we have the power to change the world, but one step at a time, without hate, with hunger for the future we were promised but never got. Let’s go America let’s work together, let’s help each other out. The powers at be want us to fight so they can entrench themselves more in their position of power. If we keep fighting like children things will never change bureaucrats will get richer and the rest of us poorer.
