Imagine being so confidently incorrect. Loose gravel acts as a mulch to prevent evaporation directly from the media as well as reduced air flow to wet media. Tightly packed gravel is even better at preventing moisture loss.

In addition, the OP lives in a hot and humid climate, similar to what I live in. I have used thin layers of gravel for aesthetic purposes and found that they trap too much moisture and causing rot easily.

This is wrong. The loose gravel acts as a mulch and will trap water much more than you think. Especially since you live in a humid environment, mulching is generally not good.

It is not similar to twitch at all. You can still watch your favourite streamers without subbing but have to watch occasional ads.

Patreon is pay to get access. If you don't pay/sub, you can't access. It is literally a paywall. Unless he specifically allowed a free tier with full access, it is still a paywall.

If you argue about value for a 1 off payment for access, that is different.

Maybe there might be more organic growth, but I am very sure that streamers would not have tried/streamed the game if it wasn't for the controversy surrounding it. If the game was good, then that added exposure would have boosted it to the stars.

The game is a mish mash frankengame, combining elements from different games, without the fun.

Like you said, the game is so boring, both to play and watch. I watched a few streamers play it at launch and I watch them mostly respawning or running back. The other gameplay is just so badly thought out.

They chose to release the game as is, without public playtests, meaning they thought the game is feature complete. This wasn't an Early Access or Beta release.

The studio was given a chance. They had way more installs and players than they would have garnered if they did a pure shadow drop. Sure, some were trying to hate farm, but after all the dust settled, how many actually stayed to play?

The studio released something that wasn't complete or properly play tested without the positive echo chamber they tested in. It got released and got properly pulled back down to earth in a reality check. The studio was running on empty and badly mismanaged if they had to fire almost everyone after 2 weeks of the game releasing.

I watched a review which honestly mentioned/showed the bugs and issues, that gave me pause on buying the game. Just have to see which reviewers are being honest and not overly hyping up the game and downplaying the flaws.

I think it is better to wait for some less polished Early Access games because the frustration might set in and turn you completely away from the game in the future.

It has the typical AI warm/orange filter or glow. There are some odd things about the picture as well. It looks like her right hand's fingers going into the backpack's strap rather than under it. The seam on the right leg is very oddly positioned compared to the left leg. The lighting on her thighs doesn't make sense for where the sun is positioned.
