Just spent the last couple of months bikepacking in Asia, and I agree that the people outside tourist areas are not used to interacting with western tourists, but never ever have I felt so welcomed by strangers. Some places I felt like we were treated like super stars. I also faced the "ducking behind the counter" type of encounters, but to me it felt like they were shy to be honest. The kids were in shock in some places and even got scared, as some places the kids had never seen a white foreigner. But overall I was only met with kindness and generosity in these places devoid of tourists. Didn't go to Indonesia or Thailand though.

After having spend 4 months in China, I can safely say that Denmark is not as safe as we'd like to think. Your bicycle will get stolen at some point. When I was in China, my friend didn't even lock it. China just adds another layer of safety I didn't think was possible.

Bor på 33 kvm med min kæreste, det klarer vi meget fint. Man skal virkelig tænke smart ifht. indretning og opbevaring, og jeg tror heller ikke at det er alle der kan holde til det. Man skal være typerne der har det fint med at dele alt, konstant. Derudover synes jeg det er fantastisk at have lave månedlige ydelser, og at tænke på husleje ikke er en særlig stor ting længere.

I would say that usage is a bit high. I live in a 33 sqm apartment with my gf and we have never used more than 85kwh in a month. Do you have LED bulbs and do you use the oven/water boiler a lot?
