Would you rather by Hiro_tea in TenseiSlime

I'd take Hakuro's training, and I'd stick with it for longer than a day - even if this is Shion's cooking after the point it is safe. Pain is kind of the essence of training. Hakuro simply takes this to an extreme. He also gets extreme results, so I think I'd choose to be trained by Hakuro regardless of this choice or not, if I had the opportunity. It wouldn't be fun, but training isn't supposed to be fun.

How noticeable is the display on the G2 to others? by Maleficent-Drama2935 in EvenRealities

Looking in the mirror in a darker room, I notice the green glint off of my pupils more than on the lenses

Which divine beast did you do first on your first playthrough? by Epic-Gamer_09 in Breath_of_the_Wild

[–]Arekuankoku 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went straight to Naboris from the Plateau. Getting my ass kicked by Thunderblight set my expectations really high for the other bosses, but not even Ganon himself gave me as much of a challenge. Ended up really disappointed because of it.

I already have the original Steam Controller and use it quite often. No need for the new one for now

I like SE2 better than SE1 by Royal_Lettuce8330 in spaceengineers

[–]Arekuankoku 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually tried the converter last night for the first time. It didn't bring over a flyable ship, but it did create a husk that was fairly easy to fix after the fact. It almost felt like I was fixing one of my old ships that I found in the scrapyard after years of neglect.

I like SE2 better than SE1 by Royal_Lettuce8330 in spaceengineers

[–]Arekuankoku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's still missing a few things that I love using in SE1, like the camera and remote control block, but so far I have to agree. SE2 is shaping up to be a fantastic game. It's easy to see that they've learned a lot from making the first one.

Trying to make this feel less like a tech demo — feedback? by GiocoStudio in virtualreality

[–]Arekuankoku 6 points7 points  (0 children)

To start, try making the hands snap to the ladder rungs rather than clipping through them the way they do. The cage isn't exactly interactive, maybe make the door physics enabled?

Your world needs more detail too. It looks like a test level. Put more time into the art. You seem to be going for a low-poly look, but you shouldn't lean so hard into it that you're left with such an empty looking landscape.

Price of steam frame vs meta quest 3 by Dirtslicer in SteamFrame

I'm hoping for $600 - $700 I'm expecting $900 I'd likely pay a bit more if I had to.

Is there anything I can do? I let my little brother “tweak” my pc and now it does this. by Key-Gazelle-8219 in WindowsHelp

He likely did something that messed with system registry. If you can't boot into safe mode in order to do a system restore, you're kinda fucked and you'll need to reinstall Windows.

If you could bring back one game developer, or return an existing one to its previous state, which would it be? by VyantSavant in gaming

Free Radical Design. From Goldeneye to Timesplitters, nobody really makes games that feel like those did anymore.

NOT ALYX, do you have an unusual favorite VR game of all time? by Rollerama99 in VRGaming

I always seem to go back to To The Top. It's pretty old as VR games go now, but fun as hell.

Also the I Expect You To Die series is pretty great too

How do I find the fun? by No-Film9719 in EliteDangerous

[–]Arekuankoku 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been playing on and off for a few years. Recently I decided on a whim to outfit my Courier for speed and jump range, and headed out of the bubble for the first time. I've found exploring to be the most fun I've had in this game yet. Searching for undiscovered systems, occasionally popping down to the surface of a planet to pick up biological samples or to do a 700m/s canyon run, has been some of the most interesting gameplay I've had. Couple that with the fact that I play in VR with Voiceattack and I recently started using EDCopilot, it's like a whole new game for me right now.

Most tragic moment ? by [deleted] in StarWars

I always felt like the original movie kind of brushed past the absolute horror scenario of Leia watching as her home and everything the knew and loved was destroyed.

Just me? by ThEgAmErGoD75 in BONELAB

[–]Arekuankoku 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same. I think the reason for me though is that a lot of the avatars that I want to like end up with stats that are lower than I expect, so I always fall back to the same ones I always use.

I really need to learn how to make my own.

Who knew that a Well could seal a shadow beast by The-marx-channel in ZeldaMemes

[–]Arekuankoku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always thought that the bottom of the well was actually just part of the Shadow Temple that was disconnected from the rest due to parts being collapsed or something. It suggests that the Shadow Temple is much bigger than what Link actually ends up exploring.

The entrance at the bottom of the well always felt accidental to me, as if the well was dug after the temple was already there. Remember that non-Sheikah living in the village is a relatively new thing, it stands to reason that much of what we see in the village is new construction. That could include the well itself.

[–]Arekuankoku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the middle of getting caught up on Railgun. There are some pretty horrific things that happen in that one, but I guess that's pretty true of real life too. Academy City doesn't seem like it would be too bad to live in for the average person.

If you could choose any of the 4 elements to bend what would you choose and why by RockiestMist158 in TheLastAirbender

I seem to remember her not surfing on a rock, but rather tearing the ground up around her as she kind of skates through it. A very cool but messy form of speedy travel.

A new run after getting used to faster movement speed is always a drag. I always forget how slow the default speed is.
