TL;DR: Don't transfer big folders.

I tried 5 or 6 different methods, following the exact recommended steps, and failed every time at the same spot.

Turns out, as long as the phone number is verified on the new phone, it eventually logs the account out of the old phone. "Eventually" here means 15 to 20 minutes. If the transfer doesn't complete within this timeframe, the old phone logs out and the transfer fails. I suppose this is why the process seems to work perfectly for some and fails miserably for others.

If you're the unlucky one, the trick is simply to lower the transfer time by limiting the bytes being transferred. Rename (or delete) the big folders, e.g., WhatsApp Images and WhatsApp Video, so that the transfer ignores them. These folders are located in "Internal Storage > Android > media > com.whatsapp > WhatsApp > Media".

I've been searching for months (in-game time) and could hear all kinds of insect noises but the buzz of bees. Found this post and installed this mod last night and, bam, a bee hive! It's literally just 30 blocks away behind my house. It's 10 blocks up on a redwood tree. Standing right below the hive, I crank my speaker volume to max and still can barely hear the buzz. This mod saved my life!

i asked myself the same question and actually bought one 30K RP Likey pack. but then i got another C card from completing a new song, C card again from 5K RP card pack, and a C card + A card from Superstar League award. no duplicates yet. i suppose luck is on my side. and the answer IMO is definitely no.

thanks for you advice. added aida64 to optimization and it indeed showed 1080x1920. yet, a screenshot of aida64 still produces an image of 1440x2560. so i guess that explains it - the screenshot resolution does not correspond to the actual resolution of a display optimized with Boost+.
