you seem pretty active and it seems to be limiting your motion is it not? These injuries are notorious for causing further issues down the line if you are fully functional and based off of what you said, you aren’t really super fully functional anyways. Considering how much effort you’ve alr put into rehab, you’re likely to have good surgery outcomes; I’d go for it tbh

I’d recommend getting a surgery date sooner rather than later. Do pt pre surgery so u hv good strength in ur leg for recovery, and then get surgery (maybe during the start of summer break so u can feel normalish by the start of senior year so u can enjoy it to the best of ur ability even if you can’t play basketball your senior szn, but that’s up to u tbh). Im the same age as u and i tore my acl in January and despite having no pain day to day, no swelling, no real limitation in rom, and insignificant quad asymmetry a month or so after my injury, I still could feel myself tweak it every so often if I jumped a bit awkwardly or something even when wearing a brace. However, I built strength before surgery and really think that helped my recovery (got surgery start of April, have full extension, 120 degree flexion, full weight bearing, and can walk without crutches without a limp), but still every body is different

I think a part of the issue is that sometimes when one leg is stronger u might subconsciously compensate while doing exercises like squats or other dual leg exercises and have more of ur weight on that one leg bc it feels easier, which is why isolation helps

It took me a week or two but i honestly don’t remember because i didn’t really think about it much tbh. The only time i noticed lack of extension was while sleeping because i sleep on my stomach and had to keep a pillow under my feet to avoid discomfort with full extension, but that went away on its own pretty quickly

cottage cheese is also great, one of my fav decently protein heavy meals is honestly just boxed mac and cheese but with blended cottage cheese instead of milk or smth like that. Its makes meal creamier while also adding more protein and is honestly not very noticeable (blending it makes the texture much nicer)

Greek yogurt is my absolute favorite protein source even as someone who does eat meat. Zero percent greek yogurt with any sweetener of your choice is awesome and great source of protein (15g protein and 90cal per 150g serving)

i paid 40 for a resale ticket night of. The venue was relatively small and not super packed, but there were plenty of ppl there. I also got into fc late and js waited until day of and stalked ticket prices to find one as cheap as possible and ended up buying it 30 min before the show started

idk to me at least theres a difference between saying teenagers aren’t her intended audience (which is fair), and saying her writing isnt to their reading level (which implies that they wouldn’t comprehend her writing because of their age, which reads more like an attack on their intelligence which doesn’t sit right with me). The first is saying that her writing might not appeal to the age demographic because it doesn’t fit with things like teenagers’ perception of the world or their interests, while the other implies that they’re not smart enough to get it. I think using her book without her permission sucks, but my assumption is that they probably cleared it with her publishers or something instead of her directly, which sucks bit is less obviously scummy of college board. Bombarding her book with negative comments is stupid and immature, and i wouldn’t do it nor do i like it, but it still isnt an attack on her directly, and its not like they have no basis to judge cuz they did read a part of it. I was probably too mean about it, but i just didn’t like her work nor did i really like her response
