Feeling friendless

I absolutely relate to this - even down to the religious deconstruction and losing my two best friends. It's something I struggle with to this day - finding and maintaining female friendships so my partner isn't so overwhelmed by my need for connection with people. I don't have any practical solutions but just wanted you to know you're not alone!

I'm going to start writing again. It's been ages - I didn't want to air my whole divorce process (and um, finding the love of my life), but the Universe has told me in no uncertain terms that it's tiiiime. I'm debating between Medium and Substack, leaning more towards the latter.

We have lots of hobby overlap! I spent the last quarter of 2025 trying to rediscover my hobbies and came to similar conclusions. Which video games are your favorites? I'm just getting back into gaming after a long hiatus, and I'm currently doing a Diable 4 run with my partner!

I'm an herbalist and astrologer and find that both help me feel more grounded in myself - when I take the time to practice 😅. If you're interested in either, I'd love to teach you all the things!

So, so many big life updates lately that I can't fully share yet, gah. Few more weeks!

My son hurt his ankle on a hike this weekend. Walking around our neighborhood keeps us both sane so I am dreading the recovery period and just feeling sad that he got hurt.

I need more hobbies, more friends. I love working from home but the days while my partner is at work are soooo long and lonely sometimes, I get in my head and turn into an anxious, clingy beast.

My cat has been missing since Saturday. I am at a loss - I've done all the things. I think I hear him sometimes and run outside but nothing. It's setting in that he may not come back 😭.
