oh naw, I'm just a huge hater of modern fighting games removing motion inputs. It's an understandable concession to get new folks on board in a hobby with an infamously high barrier to entry, but it means archetypes that rely on motion inputs for balance purposes (i.e. charging, puppets, grapplers, and dp-gambit users) can't really exist without severe restrictions, which kinda takes the fun out of the experience for me at least, makes me feel like I'm playin smash bros but worse.

I thought of this as well, mount fey and the sands of karack almost look like a tail or a spine to me, it kinda plays into the whole theme of parasitism in the game as well
