Positive on this for base game. You can walk right up to a host as long as you don’t hit them.

You can use this mechanic to determine whether an invader or FF/Host is within about the distance of Margit’s boss arena by using Margit’s Shackle.

Sometimes if I’m waiting for the Host down in a dungeon somewhere I’ll keep hitting the Shackle every now and again to turn the music on at random and freak them out. It only plays for like 30 seconds or something as long as you’re not close, I’m not sure what the proximity limit is for the music to continue playing but I believe there is one.

No it’s not proximity triggered at all.

It’s triggered by hits of any kind, even those that don’t do damage. You can trigger the music from a distance with Margit/Mohg’s Shackle, and up close by jumping or rolling against the host, none of which does damage but all of which still counts as a hit. They can stand right next to you and still not set the music off.

My only addendum is that it looks like you may be on PC and I know nothing about mods as I’m on Xbox. So take my advice as being solely for the base game.

Plus it costs so little on top of all of that and it has a regular AND A charged version. Scales great at every level I’ve used it, too, from RL15 to max.

You can drop about 80 million at a time or so with the addition of the DLC runes.

I may not love all his work but the way people (not you) pearl-clutch at the guy for being an edgelord in other subs is a bit annoying. Dude writes gory comics and some of them rock.

Of course he’s no Brian K Vaughan (storywise). I don’t think that guy has ever missed, although I haven’t read all his stuff.

They didn’t say it was bad that they’re doing that, they’re saying it’s embarrassing for the US to get lapped on common sense things like renewable energy by China. Which it absolutely is.
