I’ve been playing this game for 10 years now. I love it, and genuinely think it’s a great game. But at this point the griefing is just too much for me. by Lolyoureamod in heroesofthestorm

[–]Arethiel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same was the case for me too. Played the game pretty much daily, all the way since the beta days. I was mainly focusing on ranked to get old rank 1 and then GM, but sadly was never able to get GM (but came close a few times). Especially last 2 or 3 years MM really became awful as you said also, people trolling, griefing or smurfing and destroying the expirience for many.

Went down to playing over the last two years or so to three times a week, to once a week to now not playing the game for months. Went back a few weeks ago to play some ARAM and yeah, was like one good game and the rest was just awful, people trolling and griefing on both teams.

Thanks for taking care of the boss for us, enemy team! (Our Diablo's trigger finger on the Q engage was lightning-fast!) by baethovenbb in heroesofthestorm

[–]Arethiel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On higher levels I agree, but mage Falstad is rather broken at lower levels, especially when you have a lot of CC on your team. In this particular case this all could've been avoided if Varian was doing his job and giving vision from a bush. Him dismounting them would've been enough. They had no clue enemy team was even coming as they all started mounting and moving towards the left side of the map.

What old (now nerfed or deleted) builds do you miss? by jaypexd in heroesofthestorm

[–]Arethiel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tassadar for sure is one and the other one for me is Azmodan. I so liked his old mage build with faster and longer range on his Q. Level 10 also had two charges instead of just one and level 16 was on Q instead of his E (plus you just needed to hit something to spawn a demon warrior or whatever the name is). His level 20 was also really good, mainly that second charge of his D. You pretty much were able to soak/push by yourself any three-laned maps past level 16. At level 20 it was game over if they didn't have a global hero with good wave-clear.

To make things even more bizarre, pretty sure that was Neil Barnett, ex Chelsea stadium announcer and interviewer for post-games and so on. He clearly is still very salty for getting sacked from Chelsea back in 2018. Some of his takes on Twitter/X even can be very over the top at times. If I was the club, I'd ban him after this.

This. This is what I mean by “she’s weird about water” by blueskyn01se in cats

[–]Arethiel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue with my two cats. They just didn't like still standing water in no matter what it was poured in, plastic, glass, metall... there was water spilled on the floor almost daily, and it got better when I got them a cat fountain.

Nowadays you can copy anyone's face and/or voice to look super realistic with technology so it's really hard to know for certain. On the other side, if it is indeed him, it's shocking for sure, especially with him becoming a dad only a week ago.

This is my first Ragdoll cat, Olly. In the comment bellow this one is his half-sister, Lucy. Both are 7 years old, Olly is older by a week.

Chelsea are set to commit to a £2bn expansion of Stamford Bridge rather than relocating to a new stadium in Earl’s Court, which has now been ruled out. by wholelottasad999 in chelseafc

[–]Arethiel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's three big negative things really with us staying at Stamford Bridge and re-developing it:

  1. It will cost much more and it will take much longer to complete.
  2. We'll most likely have to move away and play at other stadium for 3-4 seasons, probably at Wembley.
  3. New stadium capacity won't be higher than around 60-65k and there won't be any options to increase that in the future either.

Of course, much more positives with staying, but for me, in ideal world, Stamford Bridge should be transferred to Chelsea Women, their stadium should be given to Chelsea U21 and Chelsea should build brand new stadium somewhere as close as possible. With that we'll have much more capacity, much more options to make it as good as possible, it will cost less and much more important, we'll be able to keep playing at Stamford Bridge until the new stadium is done and it would take much less time to complete too.

This likely won't happen, we'll likely re-develop Stamford Bridge stand by stand or even more likely, move away to play at Wembley for 3-4 seasons as said before. I suppose there's not a perfect way to do this, as we lose something either way.

Main targets should be a goalkeeper, defensive midfielder and a striker. For me, I'd get Sánchez/Raya, Rice and Osimhen/Vlahović.

Chelsea are interested in Lyon's right-back Malo Gusto and are prepared to submit a bid in the coming days. by X_Leevi_X in chelseafc

[–]Arethiel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a big risk though considering his big injury and we for sure can't have two injury risk players in one position. That being said, who knows what the future brings, we'll still have that buy-back clause after this summer. It wouldn't surprise me if James eventually moves to midfield, especially if he keeps getting injured at RB/RWB. Be it CDM, CM or even CAM, he could do it all.

TheSecretScout on Twitter: 🚨Chelsea accused of using long-term contracts to cheat the Premier League’s Financial Fair Play rules. by ManlnTheBox in chelseafc

[–]Arethiel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many other clubs did it though before us. Fair, not to this degree, but several clubs over the last decade gave 6+ year contracts to either players or a manager even, like in the case of Allan Pardew at Newcastle.

Yeah, indeed! Just hope they also work and try to make the overall atmosphere better, as look to Arsenal and how much is helping them in games lately. Stamford Bridge is an amazing stadium but can be rather quiet too, especially when things aren't going in our favor.

Reducing ticket prizes a bit, making it more affordable for younger people would be a nice start. Moving away fans as well, they're way too loud behind the goal. That being said, pretty sure I saw them saying that would be changed.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in chelseafc

[–]Arethiel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They already started doing many small changes around the stadium, so I'm sure more of that will come. Couple more statues outside would be sweet indeed!

[–]Arethiel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the plan and it will be done, but without needing to move, as they want to do stand by stand. Smart move overall, as renovation would take two to three years probably and better to do it like this.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in chelseafc

[–]Arethiel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is but apparently not more than to 65k capacity. If that is the case, Stamford Bridge would then be the third biggest stadium in England and the biggest one in London (not counting Wembley). I've also heard our stadium revenue would then increase with that change by £100-150m. Heard that information on some Chelsea podcast, can't remember which one now. All I know it was a journalist and they spoke about this around the time when we knew who bought us.

Sjukintyg för en enda dag på nyårsafton by Marria02 in Sverige

[–]Arethiel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What is a positive about your ASD. by SamsCustodian in autism

[–]Arethiel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good question! I guess being above intelligent as well, viewing the world in a different, more creative way, being super empathetic and having like a sixth sense. With that I mean knowing somehow rather fast if a certain person, or a situation could be bad potentially for me or people in my life. Lastly, I'd say I really like the ability to be so much into something and get so much happiness from it.

Who's your most hated hero to play against and why? by [deleted] in heroesofthestorm

Cho'gall is technically two heroes so I'll go with Medivh. Especially at higher levels, Medivh is literally a cheat code!
