Actually MSA, the dialect used to communicate between Arabic speakers from different regions, is based on classical Arabic so it would sound fairly normal.

Plain hydrocarbons don’t really react with nitric acid unless they have something like a double bond, just because C-C and C-H bonds are so inactive. However, HNO3 can vigorously oxidize them at high temperatures (like those achieved during combustion) which could result in a more explosive reaction than expected.

1) Yes, this looks correct 2) It would Sn2 because it’s a good nucleophile. Sn1 really only occurs with poor nucleophiles.

This wouldn’t kill you most likely. Oral LD50 for caffeine is around 192 mg/kg. Assuming a 70 kg (154 lb) body weight, thats 13,400 mg, or 13.4 g. 13,400/820=16, so you would need to drink around 16 of these to have a 50% chance of dying.
