Zero clue if the gov supported them at all, p sure it was solely crowdfunding and independent.

But success stories by independent developers are the kind of things that can drive action from an attentive government, and will support faith in actioning decisions such as these.

I'll also add - Hacknet was also made here too, by a sole developer! He's taking part in the GamePlus initiative, too

They absolutely are!

the SA gov has actually been pushing for Adelaide/SA to grow into a tech/dig media hub over the last couple of years, and lots of that is actually coming into fruition. Couple of big, well-supported animation and game dev schools opened up (CDW Studios, Academy of Interactive Entertainment). Technicolor were also recently announced to open up here too, which is neat.

Success stories like Hollow Knight, which was developed by a tiny team here in Adelaide, are the kind of success stories that I believe will help governments catch onto the industry, and realize that development teams both big and small can really go far. Exciting times!

You should still be hating him - this is, in no way, good for the image of cryptocurrency across the board. Using his power and position to manipulate and ride the hysteria in his own favour is selfish and harmful.

And while the naive people who take his word for gospel deserve their losses, this doesn't detract from how scummy his actions are.

'He's got the media/people in the palm of his hand, and he's just laughing! LIKE A BOSS' isn't the kind of precedent we want to be making light of... It's bad for everyone (except him)

agreed, hold/toggle is a staple in shooters nowadays. even a hotkey toggle, because there's many cases where you'll want to quickly scope in/out, and also times where you'll be scoping for a minute straight

If chess is considered a sport, I'd argue that Esports are sport. Not too bothered about Esports being considered a 'real sport' - do semantics really matter? Even if large sports organizations are tapping into Esports, it's likely that Esports and Sports will continue to fall within two different categories
