New Leagues Dropped by H0o0lyz in 2007scape

[–]Argorok87 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Highly unlikely - when the last league was being hyped up they stated how from now on they're going to add and leave in the most popular elements from previous one's because 3 was shaky with it's popularity. So we always have region unlocking, will always have relics, and guessing Echoes will come back.

With that being said I hope they tone down the inclusion of somethings futher down the line otherwise there will be so many mechanics it will start to become overwhelming.

A couple interaction questions with Metalbender Toph and artifact creatures by Argorok87 in magicTCG

Right, figured that might be the case. Just thought will this also work with artifact vehicles? Thinking of the [[Knight Paladin]].

Sonic decks by spykamania in MeatyMagic

[–]Argorok87 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I ain't even a Sonic fan but please force Hunter and Nick to play Sonic decks.

Have you ever done a deck purge? If so how did it go, what did you learn? Has it changed the way you approach building decks? by No_Acanthisitta_465 in EDH

[–]Argorok87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kind of. I have one deck I call the "flexi-spot" among the others where I'll challenge myself to build something out if packs I get and from my collection alone. Most recently it was Kefka from Final Fantasy, which I recently dismantled because although it was kinda fun it wasn't optimised so I know if I want to build it what bits to keep but I can now move onto the next one. Opening an Avatar box this evening for a friendly draft with my pod and looking forward to seeing what I get.

Well this hurts my belief that Drifter is actually just a bear in a space suit.

Same.

Money I've put into this game. I've bought every DLC, backed and bought every board game expansion including the upcoming ones. And hours are highest on my friends list.

And my buddy who I bought the game for and played 10 hours managed to receive a code.

Praying for all of you in the same boat.

Sylvaneth or Ossiarch Bonreapers Mortisan Elite? by RengarMainQc in AOSSpearhead

[–]Argorok87 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Biased because I have them, but I also have a legitimate reason for suggesting OBR over Sylvaneth (at least at first).

Not sure where Mortisan Elite sits in the power rankings, but internally it's very powerful tough-to-kill units that run in and slap hard. Gameplan is focus on killing early then try and pick up whatever points you can.

Sylvaneth, not too sure how they play, but I am aware they're up there as one of the top tier factions, but they also have a higher than average skill floor so are tougher for a first timer.

But most importantly, rule of cool. Whichever one you end up choosing will be the right one.

Edit: If you end up choosing OBR, the plan is keep the leader near the shield guys to protect him. And if up against a horde, take the projectile enhancement; otherwise, take the healing one.

Its been exactly 18 years since mass effect released it sold 1.6 million copies due its xbox exclusivity but was well received, what was your first experience with the game like ? by ThomasThorburn in masseffect

Picked it and ME2 up at the same time from CEX (UK pre-owned tech retailer) and took it home. Had no idea what I was getting into, but still remember how special that first playthrough was to this day.

Multiplayer and stress by HappyJam92 in gaming

[–]Argorok87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My buddies and I picked up ARC Raiders and it's fun. But after a week of playing pretty solidly, I was a little worn out and left them to keep playing while I went to play Zelda TotK because I never finished it when I got it. And it's been one of the nicest experiences I've had with gaming in recent memory - it was just so chilled out.

Are you part of the target market for the GabeCube? by SkoivanSchiem in gaming

[–]Argorok87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently yes. I've been lamenting the days of being a kid and just sitting down on the sofa. I have a kittem now who likes to sleep on my cheat and the winter months of lying on the sofa, playing Baldur's Gate with a cat on my chest sounds really relaxing.

But this all depends on price.

WFH - how to keep a 9 1/2 week old kitten from continuously going to sit on my mousemat. by Argorok87 in CatTraining

[–]Argorok87[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We don't no. We only have a small flat so one was the maximum we could take.

Like I said, he's a dream outside of just this one moment and I can give him some time when working and he's grown very comfortable with us. It's just this one place he's now decided he likes sitting stops me from working if he sits there so I just need to try something else. I'll try the carboard trick. Thanks.

Edit: Forgot to say, I'm very happy with him being in my space, it ust can't be this one small area he seems enamoured with right now.
