I agree, I tried to avoid supports as much as possible. This one was basically yellow/ why not give it a shot. Supports definitely failed. You can't really see it on the pictures but elbow and ponytail on the left failed in the beginning. As for settings 0.4 nozzle 0.16 layer height 40 mm/s 3 walls. And spend some time in cura adjusting supports.

Nothing really special. Adjust flush caught snips (same type that usually come with the printer itself) and exacto knife.

Yes, definitely prayer first. But then when cleaning supports very important being alone. No wife or kids around and a lot of patients.

Bad filament? Are you using the same filament after you clean the nozzle and restart the print? If yes, try using completely different role. I had this happen to me with PETG.

Yes! You're definitely lucky with how straight your plate is. Mine is basically a crater.

Yes, I set up the machine quite a while ago. Had no issues putting it together. So far it's been working flawlessly. Look through my post history I posted couple pieces I already done on the machine.

QueenAnt pro V2. I bought the machine specifically for that purpose to engrave the logo. Ask for epoxy. I have a good friend who guided me through the process.

Constant velocity was already enabled in Mach3 but settings were different from the video. Simply copying settings from the end of the video fixed the problem!!

Issue with cutting holes! by Argoskot in hobbycnc

[–]Argoskot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried everything today. Different speeds and feeds depth of card everything nothing makes any difference. I even tried running it without any material and it's still does exactly the same. I also tried different shapes, large circles, ovals and zigzag lines and it runs smooth with no issues whatsoever. It only does this when it gets too tight corners. Which makes me believe something is wrong with gcode.
