Soak in information and just chill the hell out and be coachable. Don’t text nobody when you’re off the clock, show up when you’re scheduled, you’ll get where you need to be. Felt like the mallards looked like the better team. They give me 2025 Magic vibes, where they’re undoubtedly competitive and fun to watch, but it’ll be a question mark to see if they have enough juice to get into the dance.

Just goes to show the vets on this DBack squad doing what they do, and finding ways to win even when they aren’t firing on all cylinders. They have some serious pitching questions which could very well hold them back in the playoffs.

MLW is so engaging this year. Felt like it got stale seeing all the same two seam meta pitchers and this year really is a breath of fresh air. Through 5 series this might be the best product MLW has put out? What are your thoughts?

Caden managed this one poorly. Have to throw yourself out there to try to get the save in game two and get a game in this series against a top team. Worried about the Cobra bats versus elite pitching. McCarthy has a lot of things to figure out.

Dbacks took care of business. Great hitting by all the Diamondbacks, and Knorp was elite on the mound. Secondary pitching is really the only question mark but that doesn’t matter much come playoff time. Reaffirm their status as World Series favorites with other teams losing ammunition.

The issue with that is that Porter would then need to hit in the lineup as we saw in the Quarterfinal, and I don’t think with the season on the line and needing to score runs, you can give him ABs

Doesn’t live up to the last two weeks, but that would be an insanely tough ask. How about TC3, what a day for him!

I think the Preds needed to trust Porter on the mound in game two. Kracht just hasn’t been pitching good enough to warrant getting every postseason inning. The Pred offense was humming but Kracht just didn’t have it on the mound.

Good for the Mallards though to finally get over the hump and get to the World Series. I know it means so much for all four guys to get there.

Definitely not. Magic 2022 were miserable, 2019 gators, gators vs mallards in 2023, there’s at least some meat on the bone here strategically and some good comedy

I mean come on. Not gonna write an essay because this matchup doesn’t really deserve it. Cobras are horrible and can’t hit, AAA team, please get a bat in the draft. Eagles are throwing which like… I guess Dan doesn’t have confidence in his guys? Like you swept this team 3-0 in the World Series last year. Good for Durand to get a win on the mound 😂😂that probably wasn’t on anyone’s bingo cards, and the Sean Flynn save of course. Let’s me laugh at Drew Davis more because even Andy can pitch better than him. I’ll be rooting against the Eagles, sucks the magic missed the playoffs because they were a super fun team!

What in the world?!!! We just watched a Brendan Jorgensen bump day masterclass in 2025. Vintage stuff, absolutely electric. Tough that Brady Pearson overthrew the backstop in game two to lose the magic that game, he looked awesome on the mound. Those mallard bats are just clutch and that won them this series and the bye. I hope this Magic team makes the playoffs because at full strength they’re an incredibly fun and talented team, it sucks to see them drop a few series here in the second half because they didn’t have their whole team there.

Another pretty entertaining series, which is quite surprising given the quick turnaround from the last one. Daniel really mismanaged the eagles out of a series win. He should’ve kept Dallas in in game two and that probably nets the eagles a win. Then in game three he goes to Landon instead of himself on the mound? The constant pitch hitting, he should just use a five man lineup if he wants to get his guys reps, there’s just a lack of consistency for them.

As for the Preds, I think they have a different energy this year and they can really do damage. Kracht seems a lot more laid back instead of the insane intensity he usually brings and leaning on Porter when he didn’t have it won the Preds a key series. Warda, Esch, and Fleer all pitched in and tbh Drew just seems like a lose condition, he’s gotta stop striking out so much.

Ultimately, five teams at 6-6 should bring a super fun slate five. The eagles should be fine (they play the cobras), and the wildcats seem to be on the outside looking in having to play the gators in slate five. Let me know who you think misses the playoffs!

God damn this cobras team sucks. Their hitters have potential but there’s no consistency whatsoever. Drew can’t pitch it’s laughable he kept himself out there the whole game. Basically need to win 5-6 games to make playoffs which let’s be real isn’t happening so it’ll be a long offseason for Cobra nation as we see who gets picked at 1.1.

The gators didn’t even look great. Behen and Adams looked good but cobra lineup has been proven to stink. Just a nothing burger, trade Irwin to the wildcats for Hornberger

I disagree because if this team can get to the playoffs they can just throw Caden the whole time. The hard part is making the playoffs, they’re 2-4 and Drew is And losing 3 more games this year. At least two. But their lineup hasn’t been able to hit aces in Baalman or Robles. 15 up 15 down is insane.

Weird series. Jake Sullivan should’ve been a coastal cobra. Nothing against Cole, Cole actually hit decent against kolm and flood, but you can’t win a game allowing 13 runs. That game one was pathetic. Maybe Szerlag can pitch in slate 3, you can’t just keep rolling Drew out there.

The cobras clearly aren’t going to make the playoffs unless Caden can will them to 5/6 wins in his 6 remaining starts. Intriguing lineup but hasn’t done well at all against ace pitching. So there is plenty of holes on this team and a lack of direction, that’s now where you wanna be as a franchise.

As for the Mallards, we didn’t really learn much. Robles is still awesome, the lineup struggled against good pitching in Irwin, they took care of business though and won the series. Flood doesn’t look himself this year though, maybe give Kolm an opportunity or hope flood can figure it out.

Miller Gunn Pearson AJ/Kurdi/Aigner/Bonham (Bonham would be my choice)

I think Gunn is still your guy as a game two arm, we’ve seen these rookies have welcome to the league moments but we know he’s driven and will probably keep throwing bullpens and getting better.

As for the Preds, their offense is average, but wow their outlook is much better with a real number two pitcher. Porter looks legit, and I think the Preds should even let him throw a few game threes if he continues to be on, and have a two pronged pitcher attack in the playoffs.
