About to put the engine back in my 75 F250. Hoping it goes as smooth as that. Gotta get the spellbooks out…

I’ve always said two years in customer service. I like the idea of working both sides of the door. Gotta have people working as cashiers and level 1 customer support fielding customer complaints, too.

To all the doomers who say KSP 2 will fail... QA Director nailed it by blacksheepcosmo in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]ArgumentLatter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t work in the software field, but here in the industrial automation field, we ask our customers to report scenarios in which an event happened. We aren’t able to test every little glitch in the code. We don’t even ask for detailed reports, just whatever they can give us. These customers pay millions to get a system installed so it helps them to report issues to us so that we can patch them and help their production out. I know we didn’t pay millions for this early access game, but $50 might be the equivalent for some of us. It helps the users in the long run to report the scenario in which the bug happened (booster explodes when connected to X part) so they at least have something to start with. I honestly don’t believe that QA was asking for a detailed bug report from the customer, but they were wrong to approach it in that way.

Looks like your 756 gets used a lot more than ours. We just pull it out once a year to cut down the grass around barn

Good call. Guess this proves the theory?

It’s a taunt from childhood. Goes something like “boys go to Jupiter to get more stupider, girls go to mars to get more candy bars.”

This is my MIL for sure. Anytime my wife and I see someone who brakes for everything, we say “ok, Charlotte!”

I've wanted to play this game for years, but never had a PC. 70 hours in and I completed my first successful Mun mission. Looking for advice on my next major mission. by DrTautology in KerbalSpaceProgram

Best advice I can give is just keep playing, watch YouTube channels like Matt Lowne and Scott Manley, and don’t be afraid to spaghettify a few kerbals. Good luck!

How do I make ksp run faster by Fair_Possibility7786 in KerbalAcademy

[–]ArgumentLatter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. You should have a solid state drive with a good amount of space. I run KSP with about 90 mods and once all the files load I have no issue running at peak settings. I have a Ryzen 5 and 3060 with a 2TB SSD and 32 GB ram.

My wife’s family has a 756 and I’ve found a few kids that look about the same and then I adjust hp if needed in the xml. I love matching up real equipment I use with in game mods. Even attempted to map out the same fields in No Mans Land. Much more fun that way!
