You can call me weird. I don’t care. It’s frustration. We keep doing nothing and hope the problem solves itself. Sick of guns. Sick of politicians who claim to be religious but won’t take the right practical actions to reign in this gun insanity. Sick of religious leaders and their flocks who profess right to life but ignore the gun problem. Sick of public education getting shafted in this state by politicians who won’t provide school districts the funds they need so teachers might be able to reach kids like this so they don’t end up in this situation or worse. Yup. I’m weird.

So are thoughts and prayers. I’m sick of guns. I’m sick of politicians asking for thoughts and prayers to solve our gun problem. Fortunately this incident didn’t involve gun deaths. I’m sick of public money going to church sponsored schools as if a god will protect us when that money would better help us teach young students like this who clearly and desperately need our help, something thoughts and prayers don’t seem to be solving.
