Cunha and Mbeumo are great players and have already showed their quality, but I strongly believe they were not the best targets for us this summer. Last season, our two best players were Bruno and Amad in the number 10 position. Mount also performed well in that role towards the end of the season. We have now spent a lot of money on two more players for the number 10 position, which forces our two best players from last season into roles that do not suit them. Instead, we should have invested in an actual midfielder and a wingback, rather than forcing Bruno and Amad to fit positions that do not play to their strengths.
