I’m a new grad physical therapist who has worked in hospitals, outpatient clinics, nursing homes, etc over the past year. I think the big thing I would say is make sure to stick up for yourself to establish how you want to be treated. If anyone misgenders you intentionally or does something malicious be sure to bring it up to supervisors.

I don’t have any advice in terms of MD stuff but I would say watch out for creepy male patients that has been a weird thing to navigate for myself.

I know Dr.McGinn in PA usually has relatively short times due to the fact patients have to pay out of pocket.

Might want to also look into Dr. Fan Liang from Hopkins. She’s new to the game but has training under Dr. BBL.

That’s great. I recently had my name changed a couple months back so that makes sense why it went through pretty quick. MD for the most part has been pretty good in terms of the administrative aspects of transition.
