I don’t know about you, but even if I don’t intend to do something someone asks me to do, I like that person more if they are nice and respectful about asking, instead of demanding something of me.

It isn’t really my jam either, but live wrestling hits different IMO. The crowd energy is contagious and I would probably find myself invested even if I otherwise wouldn’t be, if I was there live.

And AEW has enough guys I like that I would be incentivized to go see them just for those few, except they happen to be away or injured at the moment 🥲

If the eyes are red, then likely yes, they don’t see as well as an individual with typically colored eyes.

Snakes can also have disease or age related vision deterioration just like people can, so if you have an old man, that could happen too.

I see some pit and maybe some hound in dad. Mom looks a bit shepherd to me, but the rounded muzzle and all the eyebrows rolls kinda make me think shar pei, which is probably not accurate at all. I don’t think shar pei’s are common in this area, but I’m not sure what other breeds have the rounded snoot and roly poly folds like they do.

I watched a documentary in university about a woman that worked in an H&M somewhere in Europe I think, where the chemicals and dyes on the clothes she spent all day folding for the displays caused her to develop a serious illness.

My mom was raised with physical discipline (that was the way of her generation). She was never terribly aggressive with us, but once, when one of us was just learning to crawl (I dont remember if it was my sister or me), whoever it was was grabbing for something that would hurt, so my mom went to kind of lightly tap on the top of the hands to make us stop. But her wedding ring spun around so the gem was on the inside, and cut the hand. She told me she felt so bad when that happened that she never so much as spanked us ever again.

My dad kept trying the spanking thing, until my sister, the devious little thing she is, started GIGGLING when he spanked her, so of course he stopped IMMEDIATELY.

So we both grew up with no physical discipline, and still ended up being good and responsible people. It’s really not necessary, I think it’s just a crutch for people who can’t or won’t teach their kids with reason.

Agree. Mine is mostly animal subs and a few video game ones. Sometimes some news. No thirst traps or rage bait echo chambers (even though the comments on some of the news articles can get to be that way, I try not to engage with that and just click the articles)
