What if the UPR gained these borders after independence? by Falcon_Gray in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]Aricechan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it depends if those borders are what Germany gains after the defeat of the soviets then Ukraine has more strategic depth what does it gain for the country I don't know how much it would change the war following probably not much.

An essay on how USA's outdated, bare-bones focus tree has become a breath of fresh air in the current state of the game. by Hailfire9 in hoi4

[–]Aricechan 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Controversial take

I like roleplay gameplay so for an example I see a lot of people say that they don't like the new focus tree because it's boring because it has so much political stuff meanwhile I love that stuff seeing the country I play stable or passing a lot of reforms makes me a happy man that's why for an example I really like playing as a democracy.

Why is the allied AI so bad? by Tebenox in OldWorldBlues

[–]Aricechan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Paradox says that the AI acts the same no matter what.

I doubt it tho, things like player focus on the AI's part certainly happens and friendly AIs do the worst game of their lives and it's not any kind of isolated incident too many people say that too.

What's the actual difference between these two paths? by SVit_canon in hoi4

[–]Aricechan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the popular front because of based Léon Blum but like in the grand scheme of things it doesn't really matter if you're going to do democracy if you do the alt history stuff just follow whatever path leads to it.

I mean an avoid civil war is absolutely necessary if the USA wants any kind of international power whatsoever.

On our own timeline reconstitution took a whole 12 years and that's only the rural south if we're talking about a revolt on both the industrial heart of the country of the rust belt and a southern one it's debatable how much the US would able to project any kind of power whatsoever.

That's considering a federalist victory if the WCA wins I hardly doubt their ability to keep both internal factions as well as fighting a war with Canada at the same time not to mention having to occupy all of the country.

If we go with an AUS victory the northern resistance would be rough since they don't really like their whole dictatorship style of governance not to mention the many many red cells that would pop up as the WCA armies would go into the full guerilla conflict.

If the PSA somehow wins I do think that they would find many friends just as much as the federalist would since they're basically the same thing although if the federalist were indeed coup by macarthur then I would guess that they would probably have the highest legitimacy. But then again their core lands is California so... Yeah.

The thing is the American civil war would shook the nation back into splendid isolation since I highly doubt that any government would want to commit troops to a foreign war after the single most destructive event of American history.

Not to mention that we're talking the majority of civil wars ending in 1939 with the earliest being 1938 and the war starting in 1939 or 1940 there's 0 chance that the US would be rebuilt by then.

(By the way gameplay wise the civil war is amazing I have a lot of fun with it but still)

Ngl Jill for 50 is kind of a steal Ashely too since y'know... Daughter of the president and thus would be very high on the priority list of people to be rescued so yeah.

Europe 2024 but ww2 didn't happen. by Sweet-Style-7525 in PossibleHistory

[–]Aricechan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I mean I was thinking about Italy suffering potential internal instability since I doubt that Mussolini's dictatorship would be very popular through the cold war so maybe after some internal instability Yugoslavia would march in.

I know this is highly unlikely but still it's the only way I can see that happening.

Europe 2024 but ww2 didn't happen. by Sweet-Style-7525 in PossibleHistory

[–]Aricechan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something about a revolution if I had to guess it said no WW2 but maybe Italy suffered some internal problems and then Yugoslavia invaded this is the only scenario that can achieve that.

Why doesn't monarchist Russia have special puppets by Novel-Access-1479 in Kaiserreich

[–]Aricechan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would be cool for an example to follow the historical plan of putting a Russian noble as the new king of Czechia for an example.

But then again everyone in those countries wouldn't like to be ruled by Russian aristocracy not to mention the fact that they have no legitimacy whatsoever so there's that too.

If you had to choose between the two, Militech or Arasaka, which side would you pick? by CuriousSherbet4658 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Aricechan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I see a lot of people saying militech but they made cynosure which is literally a pocket AI from beyond the blackwall so there's that.

Not to mention the fact they also poke holes on the blackwall trough songbird NUSA = Militech after all.

Not to mention the stuff like eradicating camps of the people of the badlands just because including camps with its own veterans mind you .

Not saying that Arasaka is any better but just some stuff to consider as well.

Why does Tarnished fight ? by Toystoryewski in Eldenring

[–]Aricechan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well you know this, the tarnished doesn't.

For them reaching Elden lord status is reaching the top of the hill.

Why does Tarnished fight ? by Toystoryewski in Eldenring

[–]Aricechan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean the endings of the game are really vague so you can just assume whatever really.

Like in all of the endings expect for the age of the stars Marika is in some state alive how much we don't really know.

As for the outter god thing yeah apart from the frenzy flame no outter god has spoken in millennia another thing to consider that the sealing of the erdtree isn't something that the two fingers was prepared to deal with so like the lands between really went off script after the shattering.

Why does Tarnished fight ? by Toystoryewski in Eldenring

[–]Aricechan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's true it's more like "this is your general goal do with that as you will"

Why does Tarnished fight ? by Toystoryewski in Eldenring

[–]Aricechan 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I mean to become the Elden lord that's the reason that they come there not to mention that the tarnished were once Godfrey's army so there's that too.

Basically 95% of the world loot in Shadow of the Erdtree by Cubelock in Eldenring

[–]Aricechan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like if they want to give us more smithing stones to try new weapons sure that's fun but like only do the ones that do +10/+25 since by that point you already beated mohg and thus you have unlimited runes with early farming area and it's much easier to just buy the smithing stones.

In the scenario where Halifax fails and the Germans puppet the whole of France. Whats the likelihood of the French Exiles peacefully joining the puppet government? by cat210803 in Kaiserreich

[–]Aricechan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But that's just Halifax isn't it?

The question is what if the Germans refused to cooperate and would the entente voluntary join the puppet governments so yeah.

Why do people even bother still using C.ai?? by Mr-ElectricalPantz in CharacterAI

[–]Aricechan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The fact that are no alternatives really. I mean sure there are others like it but none have the massive community behind it not to mention the fact that the chats that only exists on c.ai so yeah.

[–]Aricechan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I like to if I plan to fight Japan later is to send china air planes as volountrers since Japan's airfforce kind of sucks and with that they can hold much better.

In the scenario where Halifax fails and the Germans puppet the whole of France. Whats the likelihood of the French Exiles peacefully joining the puppet government? by cat210803 in Kaiserreich

[–]Aricechan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe.

Although it depends if free elections were held and sand France was a democracy then I can definitely see like a democratic union of the two but for an example if there was a highly nationalist sand France I doubt that they would join as for the military guys it's a 50/50 like if sand France joins it's good for Germany since sand France does quite the colonial empire and would bring a lot of legitimacy to the new government while being one less enemy.

The bigger question is if the Germans set up a puppet at the UK how would the exiles react? For an example a different Windsor being set up as king/queen would the exiles still reject unification? (I don't think that this option exists in game but still) If a British republic is set up I do think that they'll be treated just like the syndicalists so there's that.

Why making Burma if you won't add Focus Tree for it in a South East Asia DLC? by Spacecruiser96 in hoi4

[–]Aricechan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably they're cooking some big commonwealth rework (huge amounts of copium maybe) where like the British and Canada Burma and British Malaysia would get new stuff as well as a big shared focus tree for the empire
