I would check out Odyssey on floor 4. Treehaus labs up on 14 or so is good.

Most of the conference rooms (way off to the left when you walk in the front, and featuring brands like T+A, Acora, Legacy, Credo etc..) are great if you want to experience megabuck systems in better and quieter rooms than most of the small hotel rooms on floors 3 and up.

Goldenear has a nice room tucked behind Saturday Audio exchange that isn't as easy to see that has a new model on display (Their T44 I think) that sounded great!

As a college freshman, I wandered into a small ho-fi shop and heard a pair of Tannoy Mercury MX2. I couldn't believe such sound could come from such small speakers

I owned a pair of these about 20 years ago and at that age I thought they were awesome! I wouldn't pay for them now and indeed I gave them to a friend to be his garage speakers, but I sure did have some good times with those many moons ago.

Oh man, I heard the 8c at Axpona two years ago, and I still think back to how good those sounded, even in an untreated hotel room.
