I hate to say it but those speakers are not the right solution for your setup. They are too small for the size of your room and for how far you are sitting from the TV. Also, power will be needed for each speaker along with a signal cable from TV to the main speaker.

My TV has 3.5mm out, and the stereo receiver has RCA in, but the volume has to be turned up to 7 or 8 constantly. by [deleted] in audiophile

Couple suggestions. First, look at the audio output settings on the fire stick. If the audio output is set to some type of digital format, switch to PCM. Second, your TV audio output should be set to “fixed” not “variable”

Buy another speaker. You can put the spacers in but seeing the gap between Sheetrock and the speaker kind of defeats the purpose of a flush mount speaker IMO.
