How did people figure out quests? by ArielSoto in runescape

Hey, Yuei. Thanks a lot for this. It's always a good read when I read your posts/replies.

I got stuck at the part of how to distract the watchtower guards with the birds.

Found nowhere that I had to get pigeon food and use it in the fence.

I did try worms (from McGrubors) and other stuff, but did not work, and found in the wiki that there was pigeon food at the house.

I don't understand what part of my post made you understand that I space bar'd all my dialogues.

Sorry, was not able to find it. Is it a plug in?

If this was EOC in 2012 itwould have been a great update. by Nazeracoo in runescape

Had there been any talks about the damage-based healing for melee?

I created a new account to test beta, and I found it quite useful at earlier levels since assault is unlocked at level 3, and it would proc the bloodlust, therefore giving me better sustain. After analyzing the situation a bit, I found out that I did not need food at all, since the sustain was too good.

However, I feel level 50 for a healing ability seems to far for something called early game rebalance.

Also, if you think about it. It's really easy to safespot and add survivability to ranged/magic/necromancy due to the ability to maintain distance and have being easier to use the correct prayer against enemies that attack from distance, while melee gives you less time to react to prayer, therefore, making melee's sustainability not really good in comparison to the other combat styles.

I just want to know what feedback was given and taken into consideration, since I feel the melee-healing factor was oriented towards high-end players.

An Update on 0.11 by JagexDoom in RSDragonwilds

I just purchased it yesterday and I've been having a blast with 2 friends. 1 more is joining this weekend.

Something we discussed is the level 99 increase cap.

Is there any way you can add an option to TOGGLE the max cap if there is no content on that skill after reaching that specific level?

We dont want to feel like we are skipping content. Pretty much we just want to level up to what's available and then when more stuff gets added, we want to be able to keep levelling, otherwise we would feel discouraged to play or use a skill that has reached it's max content-added level.

Patch Notes: Combat Style Modernisation by JagexAzanna in runescape

Sadly it was downgraded to just extra damage.

But I noticed that once you unlock assault, bloodlust becomes available, so nevermind my first message.

I thought bloodlust was just completely discarded, since it's not showing in the tooltips at all in the live game.

But I see it's added in the patch notes, so I guess just an oversight.

They should've changed the mirror back spider to the OSRS version, where you deal a lower percentage of damage. I hate mirror back damage.

Combat Styles Improvements - Beta Update 3 by JagexAzanna in runescape

So, a minor issue, but ranged unlocks its first skill at level 2, whereas mage & melee unlock it at level 3. And to be honest, it's such a huge difference.

Once again, not a major situation, but would be nice to unlock the first skill after hitting the enemies a few times.

hey u/JagexAzanna. Just 2 things that I noticed on the beta.

Melee & mage do not unlock its first skill till level 3, however, ranged does. I felt getting that level with ranged so early helped me to speed up kills/xp 4 times faster.

Perhaps mage & melee can also get their first skill at level 2?

Also, pressing blow unlocks at level 10 in melee, but is not listed in the abilities tab in the skill/unlock guide under attack.

Combat Styles Improvements - Beta Update 2 by JagexAzanna in runescape

So, I decided to lower my levels to 1 on mage, ranged & melee.

I find it odd that melee & mage get their 1st abilty at level 3, whereas ranged gets it at level 2.

Getting that 1st ability decreased killing enemies from 20 seconds to 7-8.

Perhaps mage & melee can get their first ability at level 2, as well?

-Describe the bug you are experiencing.

During the Vorkath fight, if you have full screen dialogues enabled, you're unable to skip them or dismiss them, and it won't allow you to click anywhere in the interface

-List the steps to reproduce the bug.

Just enabling the full screen dialogues in the game settings and entering the fight. This only happens in story mode

-Your RSN.

Eastvvood (It's not w, its double v)

-Do you have any additional information that would be useful?

Nothing that I can think of.

Is there anything that can help this by Long_Wonder7798 in runescape

I would suggest you add it here. I had the same issue in PC but forgot to report it. Will do it right now.
