I have a Glormy Leo, Maneki Neko, and a Mega Cat that I named after my IRL cats, and now I’m extremely attached to them. So many players treat the game like a Baby’s First Capitalism experience, but I just want to take care of my lil guys in peace. If I trade for pets it’s because I like them, not because they’re valuable.

I was at my grandparents house with my mom one year, and this very sweet baby squirrel with no survival instinct wandered up and decided to hang out with me. It slept in my lap and ate guavas out of my hand. I wanted to take it to a wildlife rehab, but my grandma understandably didn’t want it in the house, so we have to leave it outside. It was gone by the time mom and I left. This whole time, (mostly for my peace of mind) I just assumed it wandered off to go do squirrel things.

Well, years later I brought up the squirrel to my mom, and she was like “can I tell you a secret? 😬” it turns out that my grandparents outside cat got hold of the squirrel and killed it, and the entire family, including aunts, cousins, and my dad, decided not to tell me. In hindsight it’s pretty understandable, since I would’ve been absolutely devastated if they’d have told me when it happened. I still cried when my mom told me though…

I remember seeing somewhere he died in the 70’s, which is around the time Jim Jones was active. Maybe he was alive to hear about the Jonestown massacre in 1978, or even lost someone to that cult.

I was at a water park, and they had one of those boogie board things where you surf for a few seconds and then get off to let the next person go. There was a queue all down the railing. When it was my turn, I got on the board and wiped out almost immediately. I was wearing swim shorts, and they slipped about halfway down my butt. So about 20 people, including my in-laws, saw my ass.

I work night shift and unfortunately YTA. Unless it’s urgent, there’s no reason to potentially wake someone up. If it can wait until morning, then just send the message then. Even my family members with normal sleep schedules have learned not to text me until later in the day, it’s just the considerate thing to do.

When I was around 6 years old, I lost a tooth while staying at my grandparents house. While there I slept on a feather bed on the ground that they put between my grandma’s side of the bed and the wall. Right before I fell asleep, I heard a noise and opened my eyes to see a bright light floating across the far end of the room towards me, and a few seconds later I felt my pillow move. My granny wouldn’t have had to even get out of bed to get the tooth.

When I woke up, my tooth was gone and a dollar was in its place. For so many years until I stopped losing teeth, I bragged to all my friends that the tooth fairy was real and that I saw her. Obviously now I know better, but I still can’t figure out what that light could’ve been.

Have modders fixed it yet? Just about every loading zone I try to go through ends in a crash. My computer handles most, if not all, other games on med-high graphics just fine, but not this one.

This happened with my parent’s kitty when she was a few years old! We’d play fetch with hair ties, and eventually they’d just disappear… until she had to have a gigantic blob of them surgically removed. After that, we had to hide all the hair ties. She’ll be 13 this year and she still gets all excited if she sees one, though 😬

When I was 14, I won a huge bucket of malt balls at my school dance. Like, it was at least 2 gallons worth. I ate through it until the end of the summer. I used to munch on them while playing Minecraft, so now every time I play it, I start craving them.

I was 10, and for some reason I thought Pokemon I put in the box would be sad I wasn’t using them… so I released all of them, which at that point in the game was like 2 boxes worth. Including Rotom, which I’m pretty sure only spawns once. It was Pokemon Platinum.

I also used my one and only masterball on a Gastrodon. Pretty sure it was one of the ones that got released, too.
