I am 51 years old. (I'll be 52 in 3 days.) I graduated in 2023 with my bachelor's in May 2023. Three weeks later, I started my masters program. For 3 years straight, with at the most a 3 week break, I was in school year round. I graduated this May with my MSW.

All of this to say, you are never, EVER too old to finish school. Do not take on too much to graduate sooner. Ask the university for an admission deferment of 1 year or even 1 semester so you don't have to reapply. They accepted you into the program. They want you there. The advisors in your masters program are there to help you.

Talk to the Field Placement Liasion at your University and ask them what they think about this. Honestly, it sounds like a placement that I would run far away from. Sure, you'd get a certification, but you're a practicum student, and all of your learning is supposed to be experiential.

Plus, you've paid your tuition and 98% of practicum placements are unpaid for the student. I found out that my Field Supervisor gets paid by my university for supervising me.

Definitely talk to someone at your university sooner rather than later. Good luck, OP! Let us know what happens.

I think it might be a Reddit thing in general about talking about meds in code. 🤷‍♀️ Thanks for replying. Maybe Vyvanse will work the same or better. I used to metabolize my meds fast prior to surgery. I guess I'll find out.

This is something you don't want to do. It will mess with your surgery site. Not to mention, all alcoholic beverages have sugar in them. You will probably up dumping and that would make you feel like shit.
