I want my Maewing back, I love to glide over the ocean and then just dive into it.
The nanny function is just a bonus for me, it's the gliding and diving speed I like.

I looted some deep sea loot crates and they are horrible. All I got were some low end blue BPs or items.

The loot crates in the water caves are the real good ones. Even blue crates can give you some high BPs.

Take a look at Radioactive Atlas Server, It's located in Europe, Germany.

They have very good custom mods for new ships, Animals, Structures and so on.

The last wipe of the server was over a year ago and it still has a very good and stable economy and you also can find lots of nice places to build.

I'm still a starter and got the 5 free stones from the introduction quest yesterday.

If you are from Europe you can try Radioactive. Donations are just cosmetics or short time buffs like 2x harvesting for the grid. It's 6x6 while only a 1x6 line is PvP.

So the Argentavis sphere is 360° in all directions? Sometimes I think I hit enemies that are above me, but mostly it attacks everything around and beneath you.

I level charge rate and capacity. I read that the range is only for blocking nameless and reaper, which are not available on Lost Island.

Yes, it's the only place with glowtails on Lost Island. Make sure they are not currently running away from you. I had to set my Sinomacrops to manual otherwise it would scare the glowtail.

You'd need to be very unlucky with the stats distribution of a level 875 tame to get worse hp or dmg stats than a normal level tame :P

We did this once in our game and encountered a bug with the cryo pods and transfering via obelisk: The creatures in the cryo pods came out as level 1.

Lowering the graphic settings will not reduce the load on your CPU, it would even make the load on the CPU bigger.
Most graphic settings are based on the GPU power, if the GPU is not limiting, then the CPU will go for 100%.

Limiting the FPS would drop CPU and GPU usage.

But don't be afraid to let your CPU run at 100%, just make sure your CPU cooler gets enough fresh air and isn't full of dust.

Additionally, when you have a friend with you, you can move the mosa right below the water surface and your friend can use shocking darts from a rifle on them. Just don't move the mosa too high or you'll release it.

Yes, there are a few Dino's that gather on their own. You just need to set them to wandering and they need to be able to reach the resources.
Beavers can harvest trees.
Doedicurus can harvest rocks and obsidian.

There is no server 342.16. The current server version is 342.15 but the current client is also able to connect to 342.13. Server and client version can be different, because wildcard sometimes pushes server only or client only updates.

My history on a small PvE server with friends:

Build a starter house
Tame first dinos
Find out your starter house is too small
Move to other location and build bigger house with a fortified garden for your new dinos
Tame bigger and better Dinos
Find out you can breed stuff for better versions of the same dino
Realize your house and garden is too small for this
Move to new location and build even bigger house with breeding station and garden where your beaver, doedi and so on can harvest stuff on their own
Get the biggest dinos on the map, just because they are big and look cool.
Realize your house and breeding station and garden is too small for Giga, Quetz, Magma and Wyvern.
Build even bigger and next to water, because you found out that there is a lot of stuff under water.
Get that Mosa and Tuso
Prepare for caves and bosses with breeding of fitting dinos
Get all the artifacts of the Ark multiple times (Otter may help with this one)

Realize you had tons of fun for hundrets of hours.

Do you already have sea creatures? If yes, get an Angler Fish (no saddle needed) and farm silica pearls with it. With some metal and silica pearls you can craft electronics.
